I think it’s incredibly fucked how capitalism discourages learning for learning’s sake. People will have interests they’ve spent years researching then say it’s “useless knowledge” bc it didn’t go towards a college degree and isn’t part of their job. Learning is never useless! Your brain is growing and developing throughout your whole life! People would never have epiphanies or sudden lightening strikes of creativity if they weren’t learning new things! That goes double for topics like science, politics, and history, which inform your understanding of the world you live in!

So apparently some people new to Tumblr think a repost and a reblog are the same thing, so when they see creators asking for people to not repost, they're thinking the creators are saying to not reblog 😭

Y'all, a repost is when you copy/download the work and create a new post using the work making it seem as if it's yours. A reblog is you using a site provided feature to share the creator's post directly from the creator so that it's still credited to them and they still get all of the traction/notes from the work.

Please, reblog fics/art/etc. that you enjoy! Reblogging is not reposting! Creatives need support too, and reblogging is a way to do that!

unpopular opinion: after seeing a post of a writer threatening to take down a fic due to the amount of hate they received due to how they write y/n... i think writers should cuss anon haters (and entitled ghost readers) out some more. y'all probably thinking, deja you can't fight hate with hate. that's wrong and cause more drama. fuck that, like i have stated countless times the anonymous option gives people the opportunity to be so cruel because they're too much of a pussy to say it to someone face. they forget that writers that write x reader content and fanfics are also human. cause who is you 'tojileftnutsack2001' with no pinned post, the default tumblr icon, and nothing on your blog to tell me how to write y/n in a fic I'M writing. not you, but me! idk it's just a difference between criticism and attempting to try to control a writer on how they should write. open up a google docs and write something for yourself if you have a problem with how y/n is depicted.

Imagine the captains of each team sitting at a table with all the lights dimmed except one center light. The atmosphere is tense and they are all eyeing one another. Sawamura, Kuroo, Bokuto, Oikawa, Ushijima, Futakuchi, Terushima in one circlular table. The silence weighs heavy on all of them. Then, Kuroo breaks into a cheshire cat grin, and pulls out a card. “LEV” it says. “OKAY SAWAMURA I’LL TRADE LEV FOR HINATA!” (This is the start of the Kouhai Underground Trading Enterprises. Or as Bokuto likes to call it. KUTE. “It sounds like Cute,“ he says.)

(Even though Bokuto DID try to steal Hinata again.)
