aka sunshine and sunshine protector. this is such a funny thought in my head like i can see their partner being so bubbly and bouncy and the boys just stand by, smiling awkwardly. they're probably like, holding a leash thats connected to their s/o in order to keep them within sight. dont join in on their s/o's antics, but very supportive from the sidelines, probably silently cheering them up. they may not match their partner's energies, but never question their love for them.

literally the opposite. the boys giving absolute second hand embarrassment while their s/o's just there like 'baby i'm not even here'. boyfriend who? but, during rare occasions, the partners might just match the boys' energies; it's hard to not have them rub off on you. the inverse of the previous sunshine and sunshine protector. partner looks at their bf like he hung up the stars and moon and the whole universe.

they just exude this peaceful vibe yk. you could join them at any moment and just... exist. tea party vibes fr like some tea, sweet cookies, gentle gossiping. dont have much energy for extraordinary stuff. they're both just happy to be there, with each other. others might find them too underwhelming, but they understand each other well enough. their love language is gentle loving.

CHAOS personified. trouble, trouble and trouble yet again. if you think you can control this couple, you're WRONG. horanghae and horanghae enthusiast. match each other's energy to a level that is genuinely concerning (and lowkey terrifying). they're so chaotic it even drains the energy out of others with them. the calm ones are just purely afraid of them. not to worry tho, they do it out of love and love only. hold so much love for each other and everyone else its cute🤧

cant really pinpoint what they'd be cause their energy is all over the place. one thing for sure though, their partners definitely match their freak. i can just see it. if they're calm, they're calm together. if they're chaotic, they rain hellfire on everyone else. everyone prays they remain peaceful because it's hard to manage them otherwise. but no one can say for sure. they could wake up one day and collectively choose violence.

“so… what is your favourite thing to do with your boyfriend?”

all of your friends look at you since you’re one of the girls with boyfriends. putting your wine glass down you hum in thought. they all start giggling and you realise why. blush creeps at your cheeks as you frantically shake your head.

“it’s not–“ you choke out, your words dying in laughter. the friend sitting next to you, rina, nudges your arm.

“i mean if seungcheol was my boyfriend i’d say it too” she chuckled.

“but i didn’t even say it!” you huff in defence, crossing your arms “yeah, okay. all things happening in the bedroom are nice, i agree but… i like the mundane things, you know?”

they look at you like you lost your mind.

“no but sara, what about you?” you ask, another girlfriend in the room. she smiles and nods her head.

“i guess you’re right. i like midnight walks with binnie” she says, a feeling of relief washing over you. you wink at her and continue the conversation about why your single friends don’t understand your boyfriends.

opening the door to your shared apartment, the smell of ramyeon fills your nostrils. you took off your shoes leaning against the wall, failing to notice seungcheol arriving in the hallway.

“you’re back early”

you look up and send him a soft smile. he noticed your cheeks are dusted with pink, probably due to the alcohol.

“yeah, i missed you” you giggled. it was true “it was nice meeting with them but towards the end the conversation got weird, rina got drunk and almost texted her ex… yeah”

shaking your head you walked up to seungcheol and rested your hands on his shoulders, biting your bottom lip in thought.

“i wasn’t sure if you ate or not but there’s some ramyeon left” he hummed, dimples appearing on his cheeks. you looked up and shook your head gently, looking into his eyes

“i’m fine. we had some dinner and then a glass of wine. but i’m a bit tired though” you said frankly, leaning in to press a kiss on his cheek. his smile widened, arms sneaking to wrap around your waist.

“i’ll just wash the dishes and join you…” he started and before he could add that you should go wash off your makeup in the meantime, you were already walking towards the kitchen.

knowing there’s no point in convincing you, seungcheol joined you. while he started washing the dishes that were already in the sink, you brought some bowls and cups that were left on the dining table. then you scooted over closer to him and put on the gloves, helping him out.

arms touching, you could hear his soft breathing. when a bit of water splashed his t-shirt because the mug in your hand slipped a bit, he let out a dramatic gasp.

“‘m sorry” you giggled, making puppy eyes at him. cheol shook his head, rolling his eyes. knowing that meant he wants a different apology, you stood on your toes and smooched the corner of his mouth.

“it’s the second time you’re missing a spot today, darling” he grunted, pouring some more soap onto the sponge “i might think there’s something wrong”

“would you rather i grabbed your face with the gloves that are dirty with some left-over ramyeon and soap and then kissed you?” you snickered, nudging his arm. after a long time of silence he mumbled a quiet no and resumed washing the dishes.

a smile crept on your face as you scraped off the burned remains of what were supposed to be pancakes this morning.

this. this is what you meant by saying you love doing mundane things with cheol.

you're not a really clingy person, per se. you like to be independent; follow your own routine and plan things spontaneously. you never liked going along with another person's schedule.

which was precisely why mingyu was thoroughly surprised when you sounded pouty and needy on the call. he didn't waste any time though; tripping over in his own apartment as he rushed to get ready.

the door was unlocked, the living room was dark and quiet; there was no sign of any living being in the whole place. he calls out to you, head turning as he caught on to the faintest of hums coming from somewhere. your bedroom, he assumes.

what he sees when he enters your room almost makes him shrink in fondness. there you were, wrapped up in your blanket like a burrito, with 3 or so plushies (that he had bought you) surrounding the roll. nose red as a cherry and eyes watery. a box of tissues on what he assumes is your chest under the blanket burrito.

he coos as he walks over to you, and doesn't waste any time in wrapping his hands around what he could reach of your body as he places his face on your head.

"awww, my baby."

"aw me once again and I'll kick you."

"after i make you soup, right?"

"...after i have your soup."

not proofread, not thought about at all. this came together in like, half an hour. don't come for me — i am sick and this was purely self-indulgent😔🤧

the urge to get your laptop is strong now. the only thing stronger is seungcheol’s arms around you, keeping you in bed. somehow, you think he knows you too well despite the fact he’s been asleep for an hour and has no way of knowing that you’re—

“write it down and look it up tomorrow,” he mumbles, curling his arms tighter around you. “you’re not getting back up.”

okay. maybe this man does know you too well considering he’s awake enough to know exactly what’s going through your head. “but cheollie—”

he’s not fooled by your pouting. “you can research tomorrow,” he tugs you closer. “we’re cuddling tonight.”

okay. fine. you do grab your phone and jot everything you need to know down in your notes app. then you turn over after he loosens his grasp on you enough for you to do so. “happy?”

he smiles at you, snuggling into your arms. “very. i love your big brain,” he presses a chaste kiss against your neck. “but one of us has to keep our sleep schedules from getting messed up again.”

and it has to be him. you’d get carried away with another thing to research thoroughly otherwise. “yeah, yeah… thank you, cheollie.”

“tell me about it in the morning.” and he means it as a promise to listen. seungcheol could listen to you talk about different cereal brands if it meant he could see the way your eyes light up when you get passionate. you love the way he doesn’t stop you unless he has to. your passions are safe with him, another little thing he can use to dig himself deeper in love with you.

so you just kiss the crown of his head. “i will. thank you, cheollie.”

and he just chuckles, squeezing you once. “i love you, too.”
