when people say “support ND people with uncomfortable symptoms” we MEAN it. there’s a disgusting amount of people who parrot their ableism against stigmatized disorders as standing up for people and it honestly makes me sick.

supporting ND people means supporting people with coprolalia and POCD and defending them. it means listening to people with NPD and ASPD talk about how hard it is for them to exist in ND spaces. it means not chickening out when the ND people you claim to support are just a little *too* ND for you.

there’s a big difference between having an uncontrollable thought or tic than just voluntarily being a piece of shit. if your support for ND people doesn’t hold true to the ND people who are constantly pushing back violently compulsive intrusive thoughts or who have tics for saying offensive words, then your support for ND people isn’t real support because you’re showing you’d withdraw that support as soon as it stretched the limits of your comfort zone and that’s fucked up.

please support nd people with “darker” symptoms. you have no idea how much it can literally put us in danger to not have that kind of support. please please please just please support all ND people. having tics for saying a fucked up thing is nowhere near the same thing as actually wanting to say/believing in said fucked up thing. having violent intrusive thoughts about k/lling your whole family, leaving you in tears and terrified and paranoid, is nowhere near the same thing as wanting to do that/actually fucking doing it.

sorry. i’m just so done with peoples’ conditional support of ND people. you can rb this if you want.

Daily Reminder To:

Take your medications that you need to!

Get up, stretch, walk around a bit!

Get some food and water if you haven’t in a while!

Plug in your device!

Feed any pets!

If it’s between 10 pm and 7 am and you have no reason to be awake besides being up on your phone, go to sleep or at least get comfortable and start trying to sleep!

Check around you and stack any dishes and bring them to the kitchen! Including plates, cups, bowls, and utensils!

Do a quick look around and pick up any trash and put it in the bin!

Message anyone to check in on them and yourself! Respond to any messages you may have gotten, answer some asks if need be, let your family know that you’re safe, whatever you need to do!

If you need to and are able to, go take a shower! Or clean your face! Get changed at the very least, put your clothes in the dirty hamper, and feel better about it!

That’s all for now! Good job, I’m proud of you for doing that!
