GHB is the father of course. Others are his kids:

Chahut - 19, almost 20,  Kurloz - hit 19 recently, Marvus - 17, Gamzee - 13, almost 14, Barzum and Baizli - 12, Karako - 8. 

GHB is somehow connected to religion (and maybe organized crime) and Chahut often helps him at work. She’s most close to him among the kids. She also likes painting and photography. When father isn’t around, she’s in charge of the family. Also she’s the only child who calls GHB ‘father’ - others call him just ‘dad’. 

Kurloz is a chill guy who usually just minds his own business. Sometimes he also helps GHB at work but less than his older sister. He’s mute (lost his tounge) and a boyfriend to Meulin who can’t hear. They speak in sign language. All Makaras also known sign language but at different degrees. Kurloz also taught Karako his way of communication and they two are close to each other.

Marvus is a young rap star with pseudonim Xoloto (Zoloto). He’s not really into his father’s business and spends a lot of time with scene trainings and something like that. He have a friendly nature and never fights with his siblings. He also caries about his skin and hair more than all his family if put together.

Gamzee is... well, Gamzee. He sometimes invites his best friend Karkat over and when Karkat saw Barzum and Baizli for the first time he stared at them because he has never seen twins before. Gamzee himself likes to spend time with tweens - he calls Barzum ‘lilttle sis’ and Baizli ‘little bro’. He also goes to the same school as Kurloz have and knew little siblings/nephews/kids of people Kurloz knows from school. 

Barzum and Baizli usually spend time with eachother but like to hang out with Gamzee and Marvus. They like to play pranks at their siblings but usually Chahut aren’t included because she’s big and can kick their asses (figuratively). But they love her anyway. 

Karako is the baby of the family. He goes to special school where they teach him to talk and use other ways of communication. Usually he communicates with honking noises but also uses sign language and he can spell some words: yes, no, honk (as a word), dad, knife, clown, hurt, carnival, and something else. Among things he can spell is a lot of weird curses. He also friends with Wanshi who’s a nephew to his school’s principal. 

Besides all that, all Makaras are professional clowns. They often perform at streets juggling, showing tricks etc. They also host a yearly (or once-in-some-years) carnival. Mostly it’s GHB, but older kids help him with it.

So, leprechaun romance...

Alright so I'm putting on my Aranea cosplay that I don't have for this because I'm going to explain (my headcanon) leprechaun romance. This was made over a series of about three days? Maybe a week. What matters is too much time was put into this.

What is leprechaun romance? This is… Complicated, to say the least. First, I want to separate this into something akin to the alignment chart of DnD. Canonically, they are all based around pranks and riddles. Riddles and pranks being akin to flirting.

I see riddles as the more red flirtation whilst pranks are black flirtation.

From top to bottom in the chart we have the red, the blue, and the black romance. Blue romance? What is this, Avatar? Yes, blue romance. Red and black are as we know them in troll romance. Blue romance is akin to something like teasing, being completely composed of pranks rather than riddles in an attempt to annoy the other in an affectionate way. It’s the exception to the “pranks are generally black romance” rule.

For example, hearts are red romance, clovers are blue romance, and balloons are black romance. This gauges the intention and actions involved in the romantic advances. As their culture revolves around collecting as many of these as possible it is an outlier for one to for example only share hearts with people, and especially if they share hearts with one person alone. Nobody is particularly judgy of this fact though, it’s simply uncommon.

Going from right to left, e.g. stars then moons then hearts, is the intensity of the romance. The most intense would be hearts and the least would be stars. Now that we have some very basic guidelines down, I will describe more precise feelings and actions related to each charm, left to right, top to bottom.

HEARTS / AMOREYA

Hearts may possibly be the easiest charm to describe. Actually, it is. It’s just human romance translated into leprechaun terms. Dances and riddles are primary aspects to it. It is the charm known as amoreya, and someone whom you share that charm with is your amorya. For example: “Me and my amorya went to the market yesterday and I bought them a cute necklace.”

MOONS / LUNARU

Moons are a more neutral charm. Still romantic, but more chill. Like an old married couple, sweet and loving but not so intense. They primarily do more slow dancing, very calm and private and intimate to classics. The occasional riddle causes blushing beyond reason, like a puppy dog crush that never left. They call this your lunaru, the charm stays the same in name for referring to your partner of that charm.

STARS / BETELSCRIPT

Moons are essentially the pale quadrant for leprechauns. Playful jigs and riddles. If you remember Itchy and Clover in The Inaugural Death Of Mister Seven I headcanon them to be betelscripts, or sharing stars. Nothing super serious, but still a relationship nonetheless. Once again, you call someone in this charm with you your betelscript.

Those three are the red romance charms of leprechaun romance. Reminder that the left is the most intense, and the right is the least. In simple terms you can call this “reverse intensity”.

CLOVERS / DENDEXTERIDIM

Clovers are the first of, and most intense form of, blue romance. It’s almost on the level of what troll blackrom would be, think the most dangerous and cartoony pranks in this session and that is what you and your dendexteridim do. Think of the things that kid in Home Alone did to those two robbers.

DIAMONDS / KIETERUS

Your kieterus is the most neutral charm in the leprechaun romance system. Considering this is blue romance, of course there is more pranking involved and they are still dangerous pranks but more of a watered down form of it. More Tom and Jerry style pranks, think of things like setting up a mouse trap or putting a bucket of water above their door. Things that might hurt or be potentially dangerous but not in an outright attempt to hurt the person.

HORSESHOES / ASISIO

Asisio is the most gentle of the blue romance charms. This one involves the most harmless of pranks like giving them a hotdog but it secretly has their least favorite condiment underneath the hotdog where it isn’t obvious. This is truly just two being playful with each other, teasing as a way to egg the other on to continue in a constant loving prank war.

BALLOONS / HELIUQUEUE

This charm has a bit of canon context, being the most intense of the blackrom charms I’m taking from Crowbar’s mention of balloons not working out for Clover and Itchy in The Inaugural Death Of Mister Seven. This involves telling riddles that are near impossible to answer, or they have answers that make sense by a string. Pranks are also similar in this regard. Not being necessarily dangerous but things that just make the person’s life hell. Like putting their hand in warm water to make them pee while they sleep or misplacing their keys.

RAINBOWS / CHRORERUS

Once again, this involves a lot of genuinely inconveniencing pranks but with more possible riddles, though still hard to parse through. The pranks, being more harmless, involve things like embarrassing the person publicly - things that don’t make things in their life necessarily hard but are inconveniencing in a social way.

POT OF GOLD / MIDASETTE

Being the direct opposite from amoreya, most leprechauns have had a midasette at least once. It’s separate from friendship in the way it involves pranks and dances, but doesn’t go past that occasionally rather than anything intense or serious. It falls into black romance because it is a bit mean-spirited but not as intense as the former black charms, and it doesn’t fall under blue romance because it isn’t frequent. Some leprechauns don’t even label themselves to have a midasette, because they change so frequently.

NOTES AND THINGS:

I will explain the name references in each of these because they all have their own names that I will never use because it's easier to say "sharing hearts" otherwise I have to link back to this every time. It's just for worldbuilding aspects.

Amoreya - Amor is love, this is obvious.

Lunaru - Luna, lunar, the moon.

Betelscript - There is a star called betelgeuse.

Dendexteridim - Dendro refers to trees and also I really wanted a long name for at least one.

Kieterus - Diamonds can be mistaken for the other geometric shape known as a kite.

Asisio - I didn't want to put anything with "Equus" in it because Equius exists as well, so I went "Okay what's something similar to a horse" and thought of donkeys and you can call a donkey an ass.

Heliuqueue - Helium. Also yes it says queue at the end but I was not very creative with these so it's there because: It sounds cool.

Chrorerus - Chroma is color.

Midasette - King Midas was blessed/cursed to turn everything he touched to gold.
