Y/N POV

Ever since you were a kid, you believe you will never fall in love. For you, love is useless and could cause a heartbreak once it's over. Until you meet someone who changed your mind. You wonder how could you like someone who's mean and arrogant, it was the painter Edgar Valden. You managed to be friends with him, everyday you wake up feeling excited to meet him. Feeling special because he's only friends with you, you had a feeling he likes you back.

Until that day you two were hanging out in the manor's library to watch Edgar paint. It was so quiet you could hear his brush strokes. After a while, the library door opened revealing the "prisoner" and postman. They were chatting together, Edgar raised his head and his eyes widened.

"Edgar? Are you alright? " You tapped his shoulder and he snap out of his trance. He fake coughed and nodded.

"Who is that with the blonde hair? "

"Oh that's the new survivor! His name is Victor Grantz, he's a postman. You should see his dog though, it's so cute! " You laughed.

Edgar hummed in reply and from that day on, he started acting weird. His face would randomly turns red whenever he was going to paint and he started going to the library more often. At first you think nothing of it but then it kinda concerns you so you decided to ask him.

"You've been acting weird these past days.. Are you alright Edgar? " His face turns red again and he sighed.

"I guess it's time to tell you.. I.. " You realized something and had a little hope he would confess to you. You nodded telling him to go on.

"I have a crush on Victor! " He huffed, you felt your heart dropped to your stomach.

Victor? But you rarely sees them together.. Plus he was only here for 5 days! You hold the urge to cry and smiled.

"I'm friends with Victor, if you want I can introduce you to him? " His eyes brighten and he held both your hands.

"Are you sure? That would be amazing! When are you going to do it? "

"Of course! we are best friends after all. Why not now? Cmon let's go to the library to meet him! " You lead him to the library still holding your tears.

They both started dating after 3 months, unfortunately you haven't moved on yet. Your heart sank everytime you saw them holding hands or laughing together. Ever since you introduced them, Edgar was seen hanging out with Victor more than you. Luca knows you love Edgar and he has been by your side to comfort you. He knows it's still hard to win your heart when you still love that certain painter. You sobbed into his arms, can't take the pain anymore.

"Love hurts so bad isn't it? "

Author Note: Hello! Sorry for the long wait, I was thinking I should rewrite all of my oneshots but I decided to do it later. Y/N POV

School has been keeping me busy all the time, theres so many homework and exams. I cant even spend my time with my boyfriend, Edgar. I really want to spend my time with him but I guess ill make it up later. I jumped off my bed and grab my phone that has been charged. I check the time sighed. I was about to charged my phone back when suddenly my phone starts to ring, I checked who called me in the middle of the night and surprisingly its Edgar. Edgar always sleeps early unless he's still painting. I accept the call and greets him immediately.

"Hi Edgar! Why are you calling me in the middle of the night? " I asked him. There's a moment of silence before he talked.

"Y/N, are you ignoring me? " He didn't answered my question and asked me instead. I frozed for a moment before answering.

"No, of course not!! Why would I ignore you? But sorry if I acted like ignoring you, I actually felt really stressed because there's still so many unfinished homework and project that I have.. " I sighed and talked with him for a bit before hangs up since I need to continue finishing my homework and project.

I ran to my class really quick, fortunately I arrive to class on time so the teacher let it slide. Victor who sits beside me looked at me with concern in his eye, I just waved at him and continue to write the teacher's explanation on my notebook.

It took forever for the class to end, I was really exhausted and wants to go home and lay in my bed all day. I felt someone taps my shoulder and I quickly snapped out of my daze. I looked at the person and turns out it was Victor, he starts to fiddle with his fingers.

"U-um Y/N.. I'm not sure if you already heard it already or not since you looked like you didn't pay attention to class at all, but we got another project and we are partners.. " He said with a small smile.

I smiled back at him, "Ah thank you for telling me Victor! Let's talk about this project later after school, yeah? "

He nodded and walked away probably to eat at the cafeteria. I sighed and starts to walked to Edgar's class, I peeked inside his classroom and saw him doodling on his notebook. I smiled and remembered that I still have some many work to do and it would be best if I do it right now. I cursed under my breath before walking off to my class again.

I was walking on the hall to go home and finish my homework then sleep when suddenly Victor taps my shoulder and pointed at the library. I stopped for a second before remembering that we had a project, I nodded at him and walked to the library with him following me. I asked him what's the project about and after he explained, we start doing the project for about 1 hour.

After we finished, I lay my head on the table and decided that I should do my homework here before going home. Victor insisted that he will help me finishes all of my homework so I could rest. I thanked him before focusing back on my homework, Victor is pretty helpful on helping me, I honestly can't thanked him enough. Eventually I finishes all of my homework, I stretched my arms and start to pack my book so I could go home fast. I waved at Victor and he waved back at me, we separated after that.

When I arrived at my house, I ran to my room and changed my clothes into a comfortable one. I grabbed my phone and called Edgar to say that I finally can spend time with him. Strangely he didn't answer my calls, I decided that I should call him later.

After waiting for several hours he still didn't called me back, I grabbed my jacket since I decided that I will go to his house and maybe we could hang out there. I ran to his house hoping that he's home, it's a good thing our house is pretty close and that's why we usually walked home together even tho sometimes his driver drives us home.

I'm finally at his front door, I knocked and waited there for about 2 mins when Edgar finally opened the door. He didn't speak at all but he motioned that I could go inside. He took my wrist and led me to his room upstair, I just sweatdropped at his action. We're finally on his room and we just sit there in silence. I decided to start the conversation first.

"Um Edgar, why do you look so angry..?" I asked him. He crossed his arm and pouted.

"What are you doing with Victor today at the library? Why are you hanging out with him but not me? I'm your boyfriend, Y/N!! " He whined while still pouting.

I sighed, "Edgar.. Victor and I are doing our project and he helps me finish all of my homework so I could spend more time with you. " I said while hugging him, he didn't hug back but his expression softened.

"Whatever.. At least you're not falling in love with some random peasants, they aren't worthy enough for you" He mumbled.

I grinned at him, "Wait.. Are you jealous Edgar? Oh my, you are jealous! " I laughed at him while he just pouted.

We ended up spending time cuddling even tho he's still not used to it. He becomes a bit clingy but denies it. When he's about to denied it again, I give him a quick peck on his lips making his face turning into all red.

Selfless Idot

"Maybe if you stop being a selfless idiot I would stop being mad at you, I'm worried about you.. "

Your POV

I looked behind and see that the hunter, Joseph is still chasing me. I was decoding peacefully until Joseph changed his target from Norton to me. I told Edgar not to come to kite Joseph because he only have half health left. Since im a decoder, im not used to running cause Im always the one that decodes, Joseph catches up with me easily and hit my back. I was knocked down since I only have half health too, Edgar shouted on the radio saying that hes coming.

When Edgar came, Joseph noticed Edgar from the distance. Joseph didn't tie me on the ballon and take me to the chair, instead he starts chasing Edgar. He probably knew Edgar is going to use his painting then rescues me. While Edgar is kiting Joseph, Victor came to me and starts healing my wound. I say thank you to Victor and starts to decode again while Victor is sending Edgar a letter. I saw Joseph chasing Edgar and almost catches up to Edgar real close, I started to run behind Edgar to body block him and Joseph ended up hitting me. Norton and Victor primed the cipher machine making me and Edgar's health recovered. Joseph changed his target despite knowing that Edgar would only waste his time. He starts to chase Victor and when Joseph swing his sword, I ran between them to body block Victor and got hit again. I got knocked down immediately since Joseph has a detention.

"Get out of here! " I shouted and replied with "sorry" by Victor.

The exit gate is pretty close to us so when Joseph picked me up, Norton throw his magnet and stunned Joseph, then he threw his magnet again to distance me and Joseph so I don't get hit again. Edgar ran to me and Joseph then placed his painting while grabbing my wrist and start running to the exit gate with Victor and Norton following.

After the match, Emily drag us to her office and start healing our wounds. She lectures me for vaulting even tho I know I'm really slow at vaulting. I just sit there and listen to her lecturing me, sweatdropped. After shes done patching me and my teammates up, we separated and do our own activity inside then manor. While walking in the halls to go to my room, I felt a hand grabbing my wrist and pull me inside someone's room. When i was about to scream the person shushed me, I take a closer look and its Edgar.

"Oh Edgar, you scared me for a second" I sighed in relief. He looked at me and mumbled something. I asked him to repeat his sentence but instead he hitted me on my head.

"YOU SELFLESS IDIOT! YOU ALMOST GOT HURTED REALLY BADLY THERE!!" He shouted. Me and Edgar are pretty close due to my interest in his art. At first, he don't like my presence at all but soon he warmed up to me.

"Im sorry okay?! I just can't stand my friends got hurt!! " I pouted.

He sighed and dragged me to his bed and told me to sit there, I obeyed and sat on the edge of the bed. He took out his canvas and sat beside me. Edgar always let me hang out with him everytime he's painting something, not that I mind I actually enjoyed the comfortable silence.

"Hey Edgarrrr? " I tried to talk to him stretching the last word.

" Tch what? " He asked me inannoyed tone.

"Don't tell me you're still mad at me? But if you're mad at me, what did I do wrongggg? " I whined.

"Maybe if you stop being a selfless idiot I would stop being mad at you, I'm worried about you.. " said Edgar mumbling the last past.

We just sat there in silence before Emily knocked on his door telling us that dinner is ready. Edgar told me to go first with Emily since he has something to do before he ate dinner. When i was about to go catch up with Emily suddenly I got an idea. I ran back to Edgar causing him to looked at me confused. I stand on my tip toes and kiss his cheek and whispered something, it made his expression turned into a flustered and suprised expression. I giggled and ran to his door to meet up with the others.

Edgar's POV

"At least im your selfless idiot, right? " They whispered on my ear causing me to blush. Then they ran to the dining room, I just stood there suprised and touched my cheek where they kissed me.

"That idiot.. " I sighed and closed my door not planning to ear dinner with those peasants, well except Y/n.

Somewhere Only We Know

"And if you have a minute, why don't we go. Talk about it somewhere only we know?"

In which Ranpo and Chuuya has a secret place where they always go when they're exhausted, hurt, happy, excited, or they just want to meet each other. Only for them, only.

A certain "world famous" detective was seen sitting on the grass eating sweets he brought. He seems to be enjoying it, though he eats it like there's no tomorrow he left some untouched..? Bushes behind him seems to be moving, Ranpo looks at it while smiling widely. The ginger haired executive came out of the bushes, he stopped to brush off the leafs that was sticking to him before he walked to the detective. Chuuya sat beside Ranpo and let out a sigh.

"Another hard mission?" Ranpo grabbed the untouched sweets and passed onto Chuuya, he took it and opened the candy wrap.

"Boss gave me lots of difficult missions today, not like i can't handle it.." He grumbled while eating the candy he opened. Ranpo laid down on Chuuya's lap, Chuuya's hand finds a way to the detective hair to play with it. It was soft.

"The sunset is very pretty today.. Don't you think fancy hat?" Ranpo snickered.

Chuuya let out a chuckle, he got used to the username Ranpo uses for him. "It was more pretty because you're here."

It wasn't the first time they watched the sunset together. Spending time together without anyone knowing about their relationship in a place no one besides them know, it was pretty comforting. Ranpo that was too lazy to move around started going out to meet Chuuya more often, everyone in the ADA wondered where Ranpo keeps running off to. While Chuuya will always finish his missions early to meet Ranpo. They spent times for hours. Listening to each other's rant, Chuuya's tough missions or Cases Ranpo took and finish within minutes. It's like looking at teenagers who fell in love for the first time. Sweet and pure, they would cherish every moment and wouldn't waste any minute.

Unfortunately not everything will be sweet like candy.

"The sunset is very pretty, isn't it Chuuya..? " Ranpo let out a sad chuckle. Looking at the certain fedora beside him. It's getting pretty lonely for Ranpo.. His lover isn't with him anymore after all. All that left are his past memories with Chuuya and his fedora hat. If only Ranpo could prevent that incident. All thats left now is regret and sadness.

To Edgar, Victor is someone so special.. well so is his sister Maple.

But Victor made Edgar feels what they called love and warmth. He is Edgar's only muse and Edgar believes he will always be forever after his mother passed away. She left without giving him a single affection and so Edgar potrays his sister as his mother. He learned affection from her and now he found someone else who he can love and will love him back.

It was a rainy day, Edgar was so frustrate from an artblock. Leaving his residence without anything to shelter himself from the rain. No one was on the street, only him, all alone. Until suddenly Edgar doesn't feel any raindrops, a sound of the rain hitting an umbrella could be heard. Edgar looked behind and he sees a tall blond man wearing a red uniform with a red hat. The man is smilling sweetly that Edgar couldn't feel any bad aura but only genuine.

And so, Edgar feels the wamth he never feel in his whole life.

Edgar stopped using blood for his painting, he starts to take care of himself, he starts to attent more art exhibit, he doesn't lock himself in a room anymore. All so he can meet Victor again, he wants to get to know Victor more, Edgar feels like Victor is the muse he's been looking for. Edgar doesn't feel artblock anymore, Victor made Edgar feel more alive. Edgar craves that feeling, the feeling he's been longing to feel. Victor always accept Edgar's flaws and love him because he is Edgar, not because he's the heir of the famous Valden. He took what's broken and takes care of it without any hesitation and with love.

Victor loves Edgar for who he is and Edgar loves Victor because he is Victor.
