I will NEVER get over the fact that I can write stories. Like I can weave threads of whimsy in a whole new world and make people feel things if I weave them well enough???? Stories are worth so much!!! Lines of poetry are literally currency to me like I get to write little lines and then writing little lines helps me notice things when I read other peoples' lines????? Magic! Whimsy! Characters! Words! Words! Words!

Well, thank you! I appreciate this, but... I'm really shy about these kinds of things - social anxiety shy. Someday, though, it will happen.

If you're referring to typical autism things, then I don't think we're "dumb" as much as we process things slower than typical people. Our thoughts get backed up and it's like a traffic jam in your head, if that makes sense.

I don't know where to even begin when I say there have been MANY times where I'm in a disagreement or debate and, when the other person seems to stump me, it'll take about 5 to 10 minutes to come up with a proper reply LONG after the conversation is over.

Slow doesn't mean dumb, it's just a stupid idea ingrained in us by the people who have an attention span of 7 seconds.

i'm both dumber and smarter than you think so don't underestimate me because i'm actually smart about a lot of stuff but also don't be surprised if i'm dumb about some other stuff hope that helps
