Rek'Sai took a lot more effort to think about than I thought she would. Like on one hand it should be easier because she speaks nothing but growls and roars and is just mother, but on the other she is far more animalistic than the other Voidborns so she wouldn't behave like they do. Aside from that, Bel is further just making herself more of a wife at this point for me.

She's already a bit of a deviant from her species, as she wasn't created to be the protective mother she is to her offspring.

More so once you came into the picture and took on the parental role as well.

She follows her instincts, so in terms of loving you its what you'd expect from a giant scorpion-worm thing.

Gives you gifts, overly protects you, does acts or gestures akin to kisses, hugs and more, and when spring rolls around its all magnified along with wanting to be even more intimate with you.

You know she doesn't mean it, but you can't help but feel inadequate when she actively shows how much she loves you and wants you.

She isn't oblivious, just because she can't see your body language doesn't mean she can't hear it in your voice you're upset with something.

So she'll pester you about it, wanting to make sure you were okay and nothing was troubling you.

She'll give a stern growl when you lie, she won't let her mate wallow in self misery.

When you do tell her what has you troubled and how you feel like you're not properly showing you care for her, she feels guilty a bit.

It takes a bit of talking to figure out how to proceed with the relationship, just know that she isn't going to settle for anyone else but you as her mate.

It'll take her some time to break some of those instincts on how she treats you as her mate, if you mention any of it makes you feel uncomfortable. But she's willing.

Otherwise, she will try her best to not make it seem like she demands you to act as she does. Because you being with her is enough.

Bel'Veth

Bel'Veth does have a very strict view on love, but its more or less these five traits she demands in a partner.

Devotion, sacrifice, compromise, loyalty and obedience.

As long as you are willing to be loyal to her and her goals, devote yourself to her, be willing to compromise on differences, sacrifice your humanity to become one with the Void, and obey her when necessary.

She adores how you are, loves who you are, craves your individuality. She's happy to let you have free will and do what you wish, as long as you know when to park it and listen to your Empress.

So, when it came to you and your insecurities as a partner she simply asked if you were unable to follow those traits she desires.

When you answered no, then what is there to be concerned about? You fit the criteria of what she wanted and that was that.

You had to explain that you felt different in terms of romantic feelings or sexual desires. That because you felt different, you worried you weren't a suitable partner for her.

She gave you a choice, would you choose to be with her regardless of how you felt, or would you choose to leave because you felt so called 'nothing'?

Your frantic answer that you'd want to be with her, the tone of fear that you possibly upset or offended her and that she'd leave you was all she needed.

"Then what else do you need? Isn't that proof enough?"

She could care less if you felt romantic attraction to her, or if you wanted to have intimate actions with her. As long as you wanted her and you followed those traits. That's all she could want.

Dating the Void Bois

First time making a post like this, so hopefully it makes sense and is formatted in a legible way. I'll make the gal version later. For now, enjoy the bois! Kinda one shot this.

Cho'Gath

When it comes to dating Cho'Gath, you're more or less known as the one lunatic that not only tamed the embodiment of Terror from the void- but also woo'd him.

And they're not completely wrong about it either. You had to completely lack any self preservation instinct to get even half a mile close to his location.

That at least got him curious about you though, most would run and beg for mercy. You quite literally walked up to him like he was a fresh Voidling. He wanted to know why you weren't terrified of him.

He almost respects you because of it, he also has little interest in you. Because if you're not scared by his appearance, or the fact he could swallow you whole like a gummy bear, he won't really bother you unless he was REALLY hungry.

He respected you more actually when you mentioned wanting to be around him, and even get to know him. Actually made him laugh.

You are so tiny in comparison to him, and you only get smaller when he fills himself up with whatever he eats. He really didn't care about you tagging along, just don't expect him to watch his step or where he attacks.

Surprisingly, he doesn't really talk all too much unless you initiate it. Which he doesn't mind really, unless you start deliberately asking dumb and repetitive questions.

He doesn't realize he's grown attached to your company, or developed an affection for you. Just that he's grown used to you being around or on him.

It wasn't until after he had demolished a civilization to feast and he couldn't see you did he actually feel his heart sink.

You're pretty sure the entire continent AND the Void heard him call your name in search for you- you were kinda temporarily deaf after that.

Seeing you were safe from harm, and were farther away from the carnage. He did not want you out of his sight again, unless he knows exactly where you were going to hide for your own squishy safety.

He never says the words "I love you", but you know he does by his actions towards you.

Kha'Zix

Secret rendezvous and nightly meet ups so frequent, you're pretty sure the neighbors know you have a fling going on you don't want people finding out about.

Which isn't far off, because like hell you'd want people to know you're dating a giant sadistic bug. Mainly for their own safety.

It was a you fell first, he fell next and you fell harder afterwards kind of deal.

You weren't sure how you managed to catch even a glimpse of him the first time, he's fast, quick and sneaky. A blink and he vanished without a trace. But that glance was all it took for you to take interest.

It took work for him to acknowledge you, because- and lucky for you really, you aren't his targeted prey. You really had to figure out where he would be and how to get him to notice you.

It did work though, after having a heart attack thanks to him showing up when you least expected him too, or believed your attempts have failed.

He's the most likely out of the whole group to actually fall in love with you once he got to know you- and know that both himself and you feel the same.

The sadist that he is, he'll tease you hard and act like he did nothing. At some point you have to question if he knows you like him, and he's using it against you (which he is.)

He isn't heartless about it, if he was he wouldn't be feeling the same. So after a point he'll confess himself if you haven't yet, when you accept he'll tease again just to get you a mess again.

He enjoys the subtle thrill of secretly meeting up with you to have these dates, its not like the rush he gets from hunting down dangerous prey- but it gives him a different type of rush he still enjoys.

Whether you know it or not, he always has an eye on you once you're his mate, and conveniently any people you have issues or problems with just vanish. Literally.

Vel'Koz

It's like dating a walking- or in this case, a floating encyclopedia that constantly updates after every new discovery.

It started off strictly based on the curiosity of companionships, he could disintegrate any couple he finds but he won't understand the emotional or mental reasonings behind it.

You; unclaimed, traveling by yourself, and had minimal reaction upon seeing him (minimal being you didn't immediately attempt to run away or attack him out of fear). Perfect subject for study.

It was an awkward start, majority of it was questioning the hows and whys of the partnership. When mentioning factors like "taking care of a family" or "supporting one another", he'd bring up animals or even other Voidborns and how they don't follow this logic.

He gets obsessed once you mention the factor of "love" being part of companionship. Its the one thing he can't just disintegrate and understand immediately, so he'll want to study it to the Void and back.

He even attempts to 'replicate' it from behaviors and actions he's observed from others, even if he doesn't entirely understand why they do it, or the purpose of doing it just to see if "love" can be felt.

In which case- he's completely dense about your feelings AND his own feelings once you both actually develop a romantic interest in each other. To the point you literally can't tell if he actually knows you're both in love or not.

In his own way, he cares immensely. If he sees you performing an activity regularly, or you seem to take heighten interest in something he will remember it and he will question about it to better understand it. Even if it doesn't entirely make sense at first- or at all. Which would lead to further questioning and 'studying' on the subject to better understand.

He will never forget an important date, or key information about you. Its almost like he has a completely separate section in his brain dedicated to keeping memos, tabs and key items about you.

You might have to be the first one to initiate you love him, and you have to be straight up "I am in love with you." for him to get it.

With you, he gets to understand the world and the inhabitants on a level he previously couldn't before. To which he is grateful for.

Void Gals with Scars

Warnings: Implied trauma, physical harm, implied self harm

Since I did the void bois, time to do the gals! Lowkey writing for Bel is making me adore her, because I fully believe she'll be the type to burn the world down for you (not like she isn't already planning on doing that to begin with.)

Just like in the previous post, you're stronger than you realize. If something small or "stupid" keeps you going for another day, then you're incredible for it. You might not know it, but a lot of people who care about you are proud of you for that. Keep going, even if its just "one more day".

Rek'Sai

It would take a while for Rek'Sai to pick up you're hiding something from her, and honestly she's the only one you're comfortable with in not hiding your scars.

It's mostly because she doesn't have eyes to see them, so that's kinda really helpful in that department.

You completely forget about her sense of touch until she noticed the difference of texture of your skin against hers.

At first she was worried the scars came from her, after all she knows she isn't exactly the gentlest. She does try though considering how squishy you are.

When you reassure her that it wasn't her, she then gets worried if its the tunnels getting you scarred up. She does remember hearing the times you've tripped or fallen in her tunnels when you first arrived in them.

Afterwards its if her children are getting too bitey with you, and she is ready to give them a lecture about it.

You have to tell her where the scars came from, and when you do she goes silent.

She questions why, and when you explain further. She's both upset and pissed.

Upset her mate had been hurt in such a way, and pissed at those who drove you to this point

She wouldn't want to leave you unattended, just to make sure you don't get anymore scars. Even with you reassuring her that she'd smell the blood if you were to get a new one, she doesn't want to leave your side now.

She will also have her children not leave you unattended, though that method is more like a dog pile. Can't go anywhere if the kids refuse to let you get up and move.

Bel'Veth

Bel'Veth takes notice of how you hide parts of your body, or avoid her seeing you unclothed. She doesn't understand why you do it, considering she's been open and upfront with you on everything she plans to do.

She'll ask why you're hiding parts of your body, if she doesn't get an honest answer at first she will continue to pry. She knows when you are lying.

She relents when you mention you're just not ready to open up to her about that, reassuring her that it has nothing to do with her personally.

Somethings aren't easy to talk about for people, she is part human after all. She will wait however long she needs to for you to open up willingly.

When you do open up to her, its not what she expected.

Not that she doesn't understand trauma and its effects on people, but she never imagined you would be a victim to it.

The worse part of it for her, is the fact she can't 'erase' it. Because that trauma had shaped the individual she's grown so attached too, and she refused to alter anything that changed you.

Its the first time you see her really sympathetic, and comfort you.

When she believes you are okay again after opening up to her, she wants to know what exactly caused these scars to be placed on your body.

She won't tolerate it in her world, and she'll be damned if you ever live through that again in her presence.

You're Definitely Dating a Normal Man

I have some skin-specific headcanons, and lowkey I wanted to start it off with probably one of the funniest skins Vel'Koz could have ever received. Plus maybe a small nod to the first inbox message I got, so enjoy~

Your average, extremely wealthy and intelligent CEO hottie and definitely not an extraterrestrial alien eyeball that turns things into dust.

Yes he's a CEO why do you ask? CEOs can wear whatever the fuck they want- especially when they end up taking over the entire company from how good they are at their job.

In all seriousness, Vel'Koz had been wanting to further study the inhabitants of the world he's crossed into outside of simply deconstruction.

Problem is, in order to perform such studies he would need to be up close and personal with said inhabitants...without them running away or attempting to kill him.

So this was his natural conclusion from his own research, a disguise to camouflage himself into society!

He's...severely disappointed on how well it works.

Like, really disappointed- he hopes people just see how ridiculous the disguise is that they don't think he's a threat.

He took a job as well to further help his study, able to have both a random selection of individuals to observe and learn from, and a permanent selection to observe and learn from.

It took about a month before he ended up being promoted to CEO and practically take over the entire company, this business is practically the best god damn business in existence because he's practically learned the entire system and how to maximize it to where everyone is happy in some way.

You end up being the new employee at this company, and when you were introduced to Vel'Koz you had to question everyone else's sanity in the building.

And he knows you knows, even if you didn't give an obvious reaction- your eyes basically gave you away.

You restored some faith in him that; yes, its a bad disguise and its obvious he's not some rich blondie brick-personality with parental issues.

He questioned you in private about how you knew, and requested you didn't inform anyone else because he still wants to learn more. (He did state that if you declined he would disintegrate you so- not much of a choice there.)

Aside from that, he's actually very observant and knows pretty much everyone's routines, interest and habits in the company- yours too after a period of time.

Like he will get you a gift that is so specific and niche to you it's scary how he knew that specific thing from a reference you made in a joke.

When you two actually start dating, he's got work and romantic life so separate that it took a good couple of months for everyone to catch on- and they only caught on when the second you went off the clock, Vel'Koz gave you a kiss and stated he'd be a bit late getting home.

His kisses are him nudging you.

Honestly, if somehow for whatever reason you guys did decide to break up Vel'Koz would harbor no ill-feelings afterwards. So you don't have to worry about risking your employment just because things ended.

After work though he might cry a lil because emotions are new for him and being that attached to someone is hard.

Void Bois During Shark Week

Got some time before work, so figured I'd make this since this has been on my mind for a bit (considering I started this blog during it AND also sick with the flu) might as well get it out now. Dedicating this to all the AFABS out there, and the ones who actually go through this since not everyone with a uterus does.

I'll do the Gals probably tomorrow, cuz I know I won't have time today AND I don't wanna try with posting on phone

Cho'Gath

He wasn't really concern at first.

He noticed you were far more emotional lately, things seemed to get you upset faster and you got overwhelmed too quickly at times

He thought it was something normal with your species, like when he gets far more hungrier than usual and it'll pass soon enough.

Which you do frequently eat snacks so he really just chalked it up to when he gets periods of intense hunger.

When you mentioned pains, that's where the concern starts to show up.

He'd do his best to help, and while all you ask for is for heating pads, hot compresses or just comfortable places to rest for the time being. He feels like you need more than just something hot and a bed.

Waking up to smelling blood was not an immediate cause of concern, the smell lingers in the air even after his rampages.

Except he's been by your side this entire time, and there shouldn't be blood. Especially when that smell is coming from you.

You both know there's nothing you could do to really phase him, but you giving him a hard smack where his 'nose' would be for the rude wake up did make him stop for a second.

Finding out this was normal for AFABs of your species was reassuring, while also concerning at the same time. Since his species doesn't do that. Especially for a whole week-ish there's going to be blood in the air

He's more on guard with you during this time, mainly because of the fact there's other creatures- as well as other voidborns that enjoy the smell of blood as well.

Kha'Zix

He noticed your slight change in behavior early on.

He figured something must be affecting your mood, and when he questions you don't really give a solid answer. Not yet anyway.

He's so sensitive to change, he picks it up before you realize, so you have to play catch up with yourself to figure out what he was referring too.

Which doesn't entirely help when you get annoyed easily right now.

You eventually realize what he meant when the cramps started to kick in, and knowing how protective and possessive he is of you- you need to prepare him quickly before he smells it.

Which was a good idea, hearing that soon enough you're going to be bleeding due to your breeding cycle was going to freak him out and attempt to hunt down anything that just hurt you.

But because you are going to be bleeding soon, his senses and instincts are going to be thrown a-wall around you.

He's going to be far more protective of you, and willing to do whatever you need of him.

Heating pads, hot compresses, snacks. If you want it he will get it no matter what he has to do.

You're just going to have to compromise that he's going to be holding on to you majority of the week you're bleeding. Ensuring you're safe and nothing tries to harm you.

Aside from being even more protective and clingy, he does get a bit more affectionate as well.

He'll restrain himself until you give him consent, even if the self-restrain becomes unbearable at times.

Vel'Koz

He's disintegrated plenty female specimens of your species, so he is completely unphased when you hit that point in the cycle where you're flushing unfertilized eggs from your body.

This was actually part of when you two first started dating, when he was being overly observant of you.

He wanted to see when and if you hit that period, so he could prepare everything in advance. As well as your general mannerisms and behavior.

This was slightly more of challenge when you turn out to be irregular, but he still somehow managed to predict when you'd hit the shark week.

He will give you a heads up whenever you don't notice it yourself.

He'll have everything prepared by that time, everything you need and use during this particular period of time.

He'll even have things you don't normally or usually use on stand by, because of the rare times you do request those things.

He seems completely in control and unbothered by your cycle.

He's actually just really good at hiding his concerns and worries for you, since he's aware of the complications that could arise as well.

He takes special care of you to ensure this process is as smooth as possible, and he'd catch anything complications to you before its too late.
