𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏   𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐃   𝐀𝐍   endearing   smile   as   he   looked   as   his   wife   as   she   spoke.      “   have   you   thought   about   said   collection   of   songs   ?   ”      he   asked   with   a   playful   wiggle   of   his   brows.      “   amazing   how   advanced   technology   is.   perhaps   i   should   have   my   father   get   into   this.   i   know   he   prefers   live   music   and   old   records   but   this   is   neat   if   i   do   say   so   myself.   ”      it   felt   as   though   king   hubert   was   stuck   in   the   14th   century   in   more   ways   than   once   which   meant   philip   was   also   behind   in   certain   things.      “   you   have   an   interesting   collections   of   songs   ,   my   love.   ”      philip   commented   as   he   looked   at   the   small   device   in   the   princess’   hands.      “   it   does   indeed   feel   like   magic   of   sorts.   ”

        ❛  ONLY A FEW DOZEN TIMES ,  so ,  i  suppose  i  have  given  it  no  thought  at  all !  ❜   she  joked  with  a  small  laugh ,  a  rosy  blush  appearing  on  aurora’s  cheeks .  ❛  perhaps  one  day  i’ll  be  confident  enough  to  share  it  with  you  —  i  want  it  to  be  the  best  it  can  be .  if  your  father  likes  music ,  i’m  sure  he  must  be  a  wonderful  dancer !  do  you  think  he’ll  dance  at  our  wedding ?  ❜  the  princess  surely  hoped  so ;  after  all ,  she  wanted  for  every  guest  and  family  member  at  her  &  philip’s  wedding  to  feel  happy ,  and  what  better  display  of  happiness  than  dance ?   ❛  i  wonder  what  sort  of  music  my  parents  like ...  oh ,  right !   i’ve  been  experimenting  with  different  artists  and  genres ,  you  see .  have  you  heard  of  britney ?  ❜  pausing ,  she  leaned  back  a  bit  and  brought  her  index  finger  to  her  cheek ,  the  palm  of  her  other  hand  supporting  her  elbow  as  aurora pretended  to  examine  philip  with  a  most  thoughtful  expression .  ❛  hmm ,  come  to  think  of  it ,  i  do  wonder  if  you’d  prefer  christina  over  britney ,  though  they  are  both  fantastic .  ❜

            ❛  LOOK ,  I DON’T MEAN TO BE RUDE  or  anything  but  this  whole  parade  situation  is  just  uncalled  for .  ❜  a  pause ,  dramatic  as  always  before  she  turns  completely  to  the  person  sitting  beside  her ,  a  heavy  sigh  of  mild  despair  falling  from  rosalie’s  lips .  ❛  okay ,  fine ,  you  got  me  —  i’m  incredibly  jealous !  you  see ,  i’m  a  twin  and  while  i  absolutely  love  my  dearest  brother  seviathan ,  i’ll  never  have  my  own  parade !  and-  and  even  if  we  were  to  have  a  parade  for  the  two  of  us ,  his  floatie  would  be  huge !  so  much  bigger  than  mine ,  because  he  is  a  giant .  literally  took  all  of  the  height  in  the  womb  all  for  himself !  so  yes ,  i’m  jealous ...  does  that  make  me  a  bad  person ?  ❜

        “ I DON’T REALLY GET IT, ” flynn admitted. the actual event seemed kind of arbitrary … but that didn’t stop him from joining in. “ but i must say, this city knows how to celebrate. ” elias had been full of color for the holiday season, a refreshing change from disorder and debris.  “ now, your friend britney - was she captured ? locked away in a tower ? ” his voice was quiet, laced with concern. “ wouldn’t be my first time running into that scenario, if you’d believe it. ”

           ❛  YOU DON’T ?  WELL ,  is  there  a  reason  for  that ?  i  do  hope  i’m  not  prying ,  ❜  yet  she  couldn’t  help  being  curious  about  his  lack  of  excitement  for  the  year .  it  made  aurora  wonder  if  she  should  simply  drop  the  topic  but  alas ,  the  princess  was  already  invested .  at  the  mention  of  the  pop  star  in  question ,  she  laughed  lightly ,  ❛  oh ,  i  don’t  know  britney !  as  a  matter  of  fact  i  don’t  know  anyone  aside  from  the  people  of  elias .  ❜  except  for  her  aunts ,  though  that  was  a  detail .  ❛  i  do  hope  she  wasn’t  locked  away  in  a  tower ,  that  sounds  terribly  uncomfortable ...  were  you  in  that  sort  of  situation  yourself ?  ❜

Kit… really wished he had other things to do. That was perhaps what bothered him the most as he waited outside Philip and Aurora’s apartment. There came a point when he simply ran out of work to be done. He had went for a run that morning, offered to go buy his own groceries, promptly realized he had no idea how to make anything and called to find out what he needed to buy, and now was here, waiting without an iota of patience for someone to arrive home. 

He was smiling the moment Aurora came into view, on his feet and heading to meet her halfway. “Aurora, you are a sight for sore eyes, and perhaps my only hope.” He greeted cheerfully. “Tell me, do you know how to cook?”

        WHILE AURORA WAS ALWAYS HAPPY  to  have  guests  at  her  home  ─  her  &  philip’s  home ,  she  wasn’t  used  to  receiving  them  unannounced .  it  wasn’t  to  say  that  it  wasn’t  a  delightful  surprise  but ,  well ,  she  would’ve  appreciated  a  bit  of  time  to  prepare .  especially  considering  the  guest  in  question .

        ❛  why  hello ,  kit !  what  a  lovely  surprise !  ❜  and  a  bit  scary  all  things  considered ,  but  she  had  a  feeling  there  was  nothing  to  fear .  the  oldest  charmont  didn’t  look  like  he  was  in  terrible  spirits  and  in  addition  to  that ,  she  was  certain  the  horse  the  future  king  gave  her  as  a  present  was  more  than  an  attempt  at  making  amends .  aurora  could  hold  no  grudge !   ❛  i  do ,  but  i’m  afraid  i’m  not  much  of  a  professional  cook .  i  can’t  promise  an  intricate  meal ,  but  it’ll  be  a  delicious  one  nonetheless .  is  that  why  you  came  to  visit ?  to  eat  lunch ?  ❜  the  princess  asked  excitedly ,  ❛  have  you  ever  tried  your  hand  at  cooking ?  ❜
