sally giggled, “okay maybe all is a little overboard. i do have a few years on you in that department.” it was so sweet having someone like aurora to call a friend. she felt like a little sister at times. someone for sally to help guide through life.. help not make the same mistakes she had when she was younger. “it is a fun song. britney made some of the best songs ever.. oh gosh. you don’t have to do that, sweetie. my favorite song is stronger. talk about a girl power anthem.” 

           ❛  THAT IS TRUE ,  YES ,  though  i  think  it’s  lovely  that  you’ve  known  of  britney  and  her  music  for  so  long !   there’s  something  comforting  about  carrying  something  with  you  through  the  years ,  something  constant .  ❜  which  wasn’t  always  the  case  in  aurora’s  life ,  though  the  princess  liked  to  think  she’d  done  a  good  job  adapting  to  things  as  they  were  shoved  her  way .  it  wouldn’t  surprise  her  if  sally  had  anything  to  do  with  the  reason  why  she  felt  such  comfort  now ;  the  knowledge  that  someone  was  rooting  for  you  was  the  best  confidence  boost .  aurora  wondered  if  this  is  what  having  a  sister  felt  like .  ❛  oh  but  i  want  to !  i  love  gifting  others ,  especially  things  i  know  they’ll  like  or  something  i’ve  made  myself .  my  aunts  used  to  make  me  the  loveliest  gifts .  ❜  though  aurora  now  wondered  if  the  fairies  had  ever  used  magic  for  her  birthday  presents .  she’d  simply  have  to  ask  them  someday .   ❛  speaking  of  special  days ,  what  are  your  plans  for  valentine’s  day ?  any  potential  suitors  on  the  horizon ?  ❜  the  princess  asked ,  a  hint  of  playfulness  on  her  lips .

sally listened to aurora with a smile. she loved how excited the blonde could get over things.. and she couldn’t help but laugh lightly over her comment on freeing britney. “yes, it’s very exciting.” she agreed, “but, this is going to be the year of you learning britney. not just the classics. all of it.” okay, maybe sally was a britney fan but she grew up in that era. how could you expect anything less. “i could even teach you the …baby one more time! choreo!” the older woman side shimmying her shoulders a bit. 

       ❛  ALL  OF  IT ?  BUT  SHE  HAS  SO  MANY  ALBUMS  &  SONGS !  ❜   and  yet  the  idea  of  learning  multiple  choreographies ,  all  with  the  help  of  a  dear  friend  was  all  too  exciting  to  aurora .  it  might  as  well  help  her  keep  her  thoughts  in  place ,  distracted  from  the  little  voice  in  her  head  constantly  reminding  her  that  she  was  not  as  safe  as  she  thought  she  would  be ,  nor  were  her  loved  ones .  including  sally .  giggling  as  the  brunette  shimmied  her  shoulders ,   the  princess  clasped  both  hands  together .  ❛  that  is  such  a  fun  song ,  i  would  love  to  learn  the  moves !  is  it  your  favorite ?  i  should  buy  you  the  vinyl  record  for  your  birthday ...   i’ve  heard  it’s  pink !  ❜
