Aurora Is A Huge , Huge Flower Enthusiast . Growing Up In The Woods , She Learned To Have An Appreciation

🌹   —›   aurora is a huge ,  huge flower enthusiast .  growing up in the woods ,  she learned to have an appreciation for nature from a very young age and while she’s no specialist ,  she is definitely capable of taking care of plants without much trouble .  she buys fresh flowers from the local shop every other week .  roses are her favorite ,  but she finds all flowers to be beautiful and special ,  and loves learning their meaning ,  too .

🌹   —›   after coming to elias ,  she began taking dance classes  ---  mainly ballet lessons ,  to be exact .  she’s always loved dancing but never had any professional training and when the opportunity presented itself ,  she thought it would be at the very least an interesting experience .  she’s really good ,  though she doesn’t like to show off her talent .

🌹   —›   speaking of talent ,  she is a very artistically inclined person .  aurora absolutely loves learning about art ,  whether it’s literature ,  paintings ,  music ,  dance ,  theater  ---  anything and everything .  she thinks it’s fascinating that people find so many different ways to represent what they feel ,  and how others may interpret something in an entirely different way .

🌹   —›   it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise ,  but aurora is an excellent baker .  she’d rather bake than cook a proper meal ,  but won’t oppose to that either ;  she simply finds sweets ,  cakes ,  cookies and etc. to be more relaxing ,  and it reminds her of the good fairies .

🌹   —›   she is very interested in fashion !  while aurora likes to think of herself as a fairly simple girl ,  probably due to her upbringing ,  she loves watching fashion shows  ---  especially those of gala wear and bridal collections .  dresses are also her favorite type of clothing to wear ,  though she usually opts for leggings or sweatpants when she knows she’ll be doing something more physically demanding during the day .

🌹   —›   aurora is allergic to makeup !  she found out about it a while after coming to elias .  it’s nothing too serious ,  but it does cause her to sneeze quite a bit and leaves her skin feeling a bit itchy and dry .  nevertheless ,  it doesn’t bother her considering she never really wore makeup back home ,  nor does she feel the need to .  she’d much rather watch others apply makeup than do it herself ,  and she knows she looks presentable at all times thanks to aunt flora’s gift .

🌹   —›   while aurora loves her parents very much and can’t wait to meet them ,  she finds it difficult to understand or dislike maleficent .  because she grew up isolated ,  she finds it extremely hard to believe someone would do something cruel out of nowhere .  she’s only ever known kindness and love as it is what she was raised on ,  therefore emotions like hatred ,  disdain ,  vengeance and the like are strange to her .  i’d go as far as to say she has a hard time pinpointing feelings sometimes ,  even her own ,  as her life used to be very simple and had little room for change ,  though she’s learning more and more about emotions in elias .

🌹   —›   speaking of maleficent ,  aurora would much rather simply talk to her than engage in any sort of confront should there be one .  she’s not one for violence ,  never has been ,  and believes everything can be solved through the power of words and kindness .

🌹   —›   her eyes are a violet / blue shade .  sometimes they look more on the purple side ,  sometimes they look like a deep blue with purple undertones .  ( sigh i feel like her eye color has been a debate for decades now so by the power invested in me i declare that this what my version of aurora has as her eye color thank u )

🌹   —›   while aurora has grown accustomed to the idea of being a princess ,  she isn’t sure of how she feels about living in a castle .  it’s exciting and she can’t wait to see what a real castle looks like on the inside ,  yet at the same time ,  it intimidates her as it is completely different from what she’s used to .  on that same not ,  aurora often gets overwhelmed in crowded or loud places ,  but she’s getting better at dealing with that .  

🌹   —›   absolutely loves sleeping ,  mostly because she loves dreaming .  she’s in the middle ground between a light sleeper and a heavy sleeper ;  it depends on the night ,  and she doesn’t dislike waking up because of some loud external noise or anything like that .  she also keeps a small notebook on her nightstand where she writes down her dreams .

🌹   —›   both pink and blue are wonderful colors and she loves them equally .  she also loves neutral tones ,  and that’s what she wears on a daily basis .  if aurora has an important event to attend to or something or the like ,  she’ll pick something that’s either pink or blue to wear .

         ✨TIANA STOOD AT THE COUNTER SIPPING at a small cup of coffee, it had been a quiet morning at Mama Odie’s and they already had tackled the mundane tasks. At the sound of the bell they put on their widest smile ready to greet the next customer. “Good mornin’ hon! Welcome to Mam’s Odie’s cafe!” they called out as the door closed behind the customer. “Take a seat where ever suits ya’. I got some fresh coffee on or juice in the refrigerator.”

       THE CAFÉ HAD BECOME  one of aurora’s favorite places in town ;  not only was the food wonderful  &  the drinks divine ,  but she found the atmosphere to be quite nice too ,  especially on quieter days .  of course ,  the fact that her friend worked there also made the blonde enjoy the establishment even more .  ❝  good morning ,  tiana !  ❞  the princess greeted with a bright smile as she made her way inside ,  taking a seat by a window and turning her face to them .  ❝  i’d love a latte ,  if that’s alright .  do you have any pastries or a piece of cake i can eat with that ?  ❞

Dani bounced down the stairs from her advisor’s office, a new spring in her step. She had been at Elias for nearly a year now, busting butt on liberal arts with no clue of what she wanted to do with her life… and truthfully, she still had no earthly idea. It really seemed like she had some ‘right now’ stuff to handle first before she took the time to think long and hard about her future.

She had, though, finally picked a major. The idea that folklore was a legit thing she could go to college for still blew her mind, as it had been since her Comp teacher mentioned it in class the day before. Was it some poetry type major with no real world use? Probably! Did she care? Nope!

“I know what I’m gonna do, I have a plan for the future….” She sang to herself as she hopped down beside a person on the next step. “I know what I’m going through…” Coming to a pause, she raised a curious eye to her neighbor of the stairs. “You don’t happen to know a rhyme for future, do you?”

         THOUGH THE OCCASIONS IN WHICH  aurora found herself spending time with dani were few ,  it didn’t mean the princess didn’t care greatly for the younger woman .  she liked to think of the other as the sister she never had ,  or at least that’s what she imagined a relationship between siblings would be like .  dani was determined ,  full of life ,  and aurora always enjoyed hearing what the girl had to say  ---  even if she didn’t quite understand it sometimes .

         ❝  oh ,  hi dani !  a rhyme for future ,  hmm ...  ❞   bright eyes wandered around for a moment ,  a finger gently tapping her chin in thoughtful manner .  now ,  aurora was no poet ,  but she wasn’t too bad at rhyming !  if anything ,  there was a part of her that thought it was quite fun .  ❝  how about ‘ creature ’ ,  or perhaps  ‘ picture ’ ?  also ,  you seem to be in a very good mood !  i’m glad ,  ❞  the blonde pointed out with a smile .  ❝  did something special happen ?  ❞
