update: IVE. FUCKING. DONE ITTTT. I CAME OUT. I was shaking SO damn hard as I sent the text even though I knew my friends would support. I did cry a little cause like WHOAH I can be unquestioningly me around them now. And their responses.... I LOVE THEM SO MUCH AHHHH. Thank you to all of tumblr for giving me the confidence in my sexuality to actually tell my friends I’m bi, I couldn’t have done it without the bi community and just overall the lgbtq community on this app. YALL THE BEST ❤️❤️❤️

on national coming out day, it’s important to remember this: you don’t have to come out.
there is no pressure at all. if you don’t feel safe, if you don’t think you’ll be supported, if you’re just not ready; you don’t have to come out.
wait until you feel safe. if you have homophobic parents, wait until you don’t rely on them. wait until you’re in a situation where it’s completely safe for you.
come out when you feel ready. no other time.
people who are still in the closet on national coming out day, i see you. you’re not alone. i stand is with you. i support you, i’m proud of you, and i love you.
(on the other hand, if anyone did or is planning to come out, i’m proud of you!)
