The reader discovers she is pregnant with Aemond’s child amidst the greens and blacks conflict. Fearing the consequences, she flees to protect herself and her child, starting a new life in hiding.

After years in hiding, raising her now four-year-old child, the reader learns about the tragic fate of her siblings and mother. Overwhelmed with fury and fear, she remains in hiding to avoid further danger.

While in hiding, a random villager recognizes them. This encounter puts their secrecy at risk and heightens the reader’s fear of exposure.

Aemond, still searching for the reader and having heard rumors about a child resembling him, eventually finds them.
