Tbh you’re cool and I like a lot of the things you reblog and stuff. But like. I don’t even know what twewy means and at this point I’m afraid to ask. I cycle thru different pronounciations of it and I would like to submit my favorites. Two-ee. Chewy. Twenty. Twee. Ta-wee-wee. No clue what’s going on. But I’m glad it makes you happy.

LHSJDFBXJDJDJ THIS IS SO FUNNY also the best pronunciation is tweh-wee i won’t hear it otherwise also we have literally had entire debates about it i’m not kidding

but anyway twewy is an acronym for The World Ends With You, a square enix jrpg originally for the nintendo ds, released back in 2007 (i played the switch port) it’s obscure it’s niche it’s weird but it had a renaissance last year w/ the anime and the sequel and i was caught up in it it drives me crazy in the best way

basically you’re dead and in purgatory but instead of having a nice afterlife you have to play the hunger games and if you win then you can be reincarnated and if you lose then the last remnants of your soul are erased from existence. but it’s really just an uplifting video game about wholesome character development bc our protag starts out as a bratty little edgelord loner but that only hurts him bc you have to work with other people to survive. welcome to hell friendship is magic

So... Anybody else ever notice that how some characters have a number of similarities that you just kind of think it could be more than just a coincidence?

As an example, anybody else wonder if Edric & Emira Blight from “The Owl House” were at least somewhat influenced by the titular characters from the book series “Edgar & Ellen?” Edgar & Ellen are a pair of twins who are pranksters that cause mischief and mayhem, that have a bit of a rivalry with a person who likes to try and stop their pranks. 

In all honesty, it’s been many years since I’ve really read an “Edgar & Ellen” book or watched the cartoon adaptation, so I could be way off in this comparison.
