And now he appears both more guarded and shyer than he used to. More vulnerable and honest.

I love Hawks being flustered because Dabi is a lil shit, but I love the opposite more. Dabi getting pissed and shoving Hawks against a wall to threaten him but Hawks just looks up at him and smirks, totally relaxed, and Dabi is like fuck fuck fuck fuck abort

Until he realizes he was completely wrong. Hawks isn't a build-a-bear where Dabi can isolate these qualities about him that he likes. Because he doesn't, in fact, like this Hawks. He likes his Keigo.

Except his Keigo is beyond pissed at him for this stunt and will barely even look at him now. Villain Hawks notices what happened, obviously, and thinks this is fucking hilarious. Just entirely unhelpful comments the whole time. "Ooooh you fucked up so bad. Do you know how much we love attention? And you ignored him for a different him? He'll never forgive you."
