Like the thing is, the concept isn't bad! I'm sure it will be good on stage! But I'm worried this will be a good play despite the script. Like the actors can for sure bring the character in (because it's not in the script), BUT THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE TO, the point of the script is to give characters so the actors can Expand opon them, they should not need to do the work a character driven narrative can't.

I didn't like it! I get the message and all, I do, but uhg it's so boring? I guess?? Like the message is "the people in control will never fix suffering and the climate! WE have to do it TOGETHER"

But that message was mostly delivered by the vegan power girl™ and the literal soviet cosmonaut, the other 4 characters did NOTHIN and one of them kept having a complex about it ("we wrote this character to be autistic") and in the end they had had an epiphany that they are valued and it's fine to be shy, but that never showed up on the script until the end song??

God sometimes I forget that my glasses give me headaches, because yeah, they help me see and read and see lights as shapes and not stars, but they also take energy to use! These things are supposed to help me (and they do!) but I still use a lot of energy to read words and signs and clocks and to see the leaves and the raindrops in the water!

I want to see everything! Why can't they do that :(
