cold take: man!volta leading coco during pumping iron is wrong on so many levels. for one we know coco would absolutely not let anyone lead and dip her in a dance, much less a freaking railcar (which is obviously below her) and we all know that volta who was fawning over greaseball and would absolutely let someone else lead him in a dance but nooooo all the women are being lead by the men so coco HAS to be lead by volta even if it would make more sense for her to be leading him but whatever sure ok

so apparently in the 1983 london workshop, the reason espresso reject’s ashley’s advances when she flirts with him is because his MOTHER. his MOM. his MAMA. told him not to date people who smoke. so this confirms that at least in the world of the workshop, trains do indeed have parents that raise them from conception to maturity. also since it’s never said what mother espresso is, so i’ve decided that she’s an engine like her son. shoutout to espresso’s mom for being the REAL first female engine in the show.
