ok someone actually tell me what the hell was going in the 2nd us tour races because they are a TRIP. the 4th race especially because it makes no sense???

ok so like it starts out normal right, greaseball and electra are like overtaking rusty and pearl's straight up not having a good time right now, you know like how the onstage races go, but then for some reason greaseball and electra stop dead in their tracks in the middle of this cramped ass small ass tunnel and to fight each other??????? what??? ok so like in the older races, it made sense why greaseball started fighting with electra, because he uncoupled pearl and he needed to get another racing partner if he wanted to remain in the race. dustin wasn't a viable option because greaseball like wasn't thinking about rusty at all, much less the giant coal hopper that he's pulling. if anything he probably thought that he was way behind him, and that dustin was weighing him down, so since electra and cb were closer to him, and beating electra was a more immediate goal to him so it made sense why he'd try to fight cb off electra. but here pearl is still coupled to greaseball while he's fighting electra (reminder, he stopped in the tunnel to fight electra for????? idk what reason????? i guess he was bored?????) so she's just chilling behind greaseball while he's fighting electra, and caboose is actually the one to disconnect her, which is something he would do. she's sent flying downhill, whilst in the tunnel???? then immediately in the next shot of her, she's rolling at a snail's pace, but here, instead of the danger being that pearl is travelling at dangerous speeds and could get into a crash, it's now that she's rolling down the line into a bunch of exposed electrical wires that were revealed by gb and electra's fighting. girly where are your brakes at???? use them???? i know you have them, you're usually the last coach on a train i'd expect you'd have some functioning brakes????? like it would've worked if they established like "oh pearl tried to use her brakes, but she was going so fast that they broke and that's why she can't stop"

but honestly despite all that, i can't bring myself to hate it, it's goofy and doesn't make any sense, but i love it so much i love this wacky energy it has
