I don't know if this happens to all fanfic writers, but do any of you go into random tangents about things that don't matter to the plot?

I'm writing a conversation and somehow got onto the topic of the facility's scrambled eggs sucking. Lack of seasoning. Bland. Boring.

Like, does this happen to anyone?

I'm trying to honestly put this into words that anyone can genuinely understand...

The "chapter movie" never stopped. I don't know if anyone can understand my use of certain terminology here, but as an autistic creative with ADD, that's how it works for me.

Is it possible to write angst and make your favorite character the bad guy in the situation?

Hell, I made him bisexual for the universe that the fix it fic takes place in because I'm a selfish woman with selfish tendencies.

I actually looked into the source provided, it's from a Voltron podcast where some of the crew and cast were interviewed on various topics. It's ongoing since the franchise has multiple shows in the west.
