Honestly who needs the immigration process. THIS is how you identify a real American. Doesn't matter where you were born. If any part of your home looks like this - or if you at least WISH it looked like this - on September 9th, you should be automatically awarded US citizenship.

why do they have such similar vibes

Since I'm on a Morph thought process, I shall share a headcanon.

Their stupid jacket is a security blanket akin to the "favorite hoodie."

My reasoning:

Okay keep in mind the old cartoon is, well, budgeted. There's alot of timed where things don't get animated right, characters are wearing the wrong clothes or holding the wrong props, or somebody forgets to put pants on Wolverine (yes this happened) so when we first see Morph wearing the X Jacket it's just suddenly there in the middle of the first mission, and also sometimes they're wearing gloves and not. Now from what I hear and reckon, they just shape-shift clothes on themself most of the timr, which, valid, they're a shapeshifter, why wear physical clothes if you don't have to? I like to think the jacket is real though.

And then it gets vaporized off of them from a sentinel death ray, along with most of their top layers and if this wasn't a kids show there'd be a gaping hole in their chest.

So next season when theyre mind controlled and brain fucked by Sinister they dont have the jacket. Until they goe back to the mansion that is. After that they wear the jacket some more.

In 97, they're wearing it all the time except for when the big costume change happens because it's time to fight the boss and we all gotta look pretty. Time to put the feel good jacket away.

Anyways, it's akin to the comfort hoodie. It's home to them. It covers them. It grounds them. It reminds them who they are.

Or maybe I think too hard about a characters wardrobe idk I'm just glad they kept Wolverines tipped cowboy boots fr
