Day 4: Headcanon

Headcanon: Marx was a noddy in nutty noon with his parents before the events of milky way wishes

I absolutely adore Seo Changbin. He is such a precious person, he cares so much about others, he is literally the definition of a sweetheart, he’s a hardworker, and he is SO talented. The moment I started stanning stray kids and I was getting to know I him I already knew he was going to be so precious to me. I genuinely love how gentle he is. He always wants to take care of his member and he dances in snow with his mom. Moments like those remind me of why he is so loved by many people. I sincerely hope he finds someone who will treat him well and will give him all the love and happiness of the world. He deserves everything good and more.

♡ Changbin Paragraph ♡

Changbin has many reasons to be loved. Not simply because of body, though some may not agree with me, I like more meaty people (If that’s not mean, please tell me if that is…) but also because of his personality and insane rap skills. He makes mistakes, sure, but they always come out as some of the best parts in a skz song. As for his personality, his loudness, cuteness, and over all randomness just adds some of the best energy to him. I feel, personally, Stray Kids wouldn’t Stray Kids without someone as chaotic as Changbin. Even though he said his rap style was more dark… he seems pretty light to me. Mostly his agyeo and the times he puts tutus on and pretends to be a fairy (I think he only did that once). Live Laugh Love, Seo Changbin.

Day 4: Yuri on Ice / Music

I feel like a lot of amazing pieces in the soundtrack got looked over by most. I wanted to show some love for Guang Hong’s beautiful SP music!

Welcome to the fourth day of Scroldie week!

Day 4: Gold

Scrooge and Goldie decided to take one of their treasure hunts. They discovered the hidden treasure of the two sons of Adam and the two daughters of Eve. While looking through the piles of treasure Scrooge looked over towards Goldie and he only had one thought in his head, “She looks so beautiful in the light of the gold.”

Day 4. Started late. Oh well. It was painful :D Im going to focus on face shape since that is where I think Im failing... Then after that back to sketching the faces...

Day 4 - Should have started earlier, I am so tired. Even if it's unfinished, it seems...pretty okay. Good enough for today.

I feel bad, I haven't finished the other picture, I have to do that tomorrow for suuuuure

From where I'm from, Ashura is kids favorite holiday: brand new Eid clothes, various candy and snacks but especially, new toys.

That's the first thing that popped up when looking up @davekatweek today's theme, and I'm a firm believer in drawing Karkat the crabby troll smiling. 🦀

The one with the Advent Calendar (Day 4)

Pairing: Henry Cavill x reader

Warnings: 18+ only, please don’t read if you are a minor

You looked at your phone still taken back by the conversation you just had had with Henry. It wasn’t like he had been rude or angry but you could hear in his voice that there was something wrong. Your boyfriend always tried to do everything in his power not to make you worry, forgetting sometimes that a relationship was a two ways street: when you needed him he was always there, not questions asked, but he didn’t always expect the same from you. You knew it wasn’t really about you: Henry was a big tough man that sometimes needed to be reminded that it was ok to lean on you. You knew he knew that in theory, he just needed a little nudge.

You looked at the clock, Henry was going to be here soon: he had been gone for a couple of days doing interviews and he was coming back home. You didn’t know what had happened, you didn’t even know if something actually had happened or if he just was tired after the long days of interviews. You knew it could be tough sometimes, in particular when there were interviewers that were rude and invasive. Henry had chosen a line of work where sadly there was little to none privacy, but this didn’t mean people had the right to cross the line of mutual respect.

You had had your first suspicion something was wrong as soon as Henry had called before boarding to tell you there was no need for you to go get them when they landed. But you had decided not to tell anything then, firstly because you could be wrong (even if it was unlikely, you knew your man very well), secondly because you didn’t think talking to Henry about it on the phone was the right move.

So you waited and when you got the message “Landed” from Henry you knew you were one hundred percent right. He always called when he landed, always… so the text was a dead giveaway.

You took your time to figure out how to approach the situation, you knew bluntly asking him if something was wrong wasn’t the right move so what could you do?

You looked at the bedside table and something caught your attention: you had opened the advent calendar on FaceTime with Henry this morning and funnily enough what you had found was something that could actually be useful in this case.

You changed in your night gown, you lighted your favorite scented candle and waited. You didn’t have to wait long, not even ten minutes later you heard the house door opening.

You went to the entrance to welcome your boys; Kal barely came to say hello to you, it was clear the pup was probably as concerned for his dad as you were.

Henry was busy taking his coat off so you lightly put Kal on the head

“Don’t you worry, I got him”- you murmured to the pup while kissing him on his fluffy head.

You left Kal to give your attention to your boyfriend

“Hey baby”- you gently kissed Henry on the lips

“Hi love”- he was hugging you but you weren’t sure he was wholly with you at the moment. He didn’t even comment your outfit and that said it all about his state of mind.

“Why don’t you go grab a shower and I’m gonna wait for you in our bedroom? Don’t worry I’m gonna make sure to give Kal his dinner before coming upstairs”

Henry nodded and went to the bathroom; you attended to Kal needs before venturing upstairs yourself.

Finished his shower, Henry went to the bedroom and looked around the room: he noticed the candle, the dimmed lights and the soft music. He looked at you: you looked like an angel in you white gown

“I’m sorry love I’m not in the mood”- he grimaced. He hated to disappoint you but he really couldn’t right now. He had expected to find a slightly disappointed look on your face: you always respected each other choices and needs but sometimes it could be hard when you hadn’t seen each other for days. But you were smiling at him, like he was the cutest clueless man on the planet.

You softly caressed his cheek and kissed him on the lips

“Trust me”- you whispered and how could he not

You made him dispose of the towel he was wearing after his shower, and lie down on the bed on his stomach.

He heard you getting on the bed and then he felt you sitting on his butt. He was about to ask you what you were doing when he heard you saying

“I’m here”- You kissed him behind his ear and he breathed a sigh of relief. He looked at you with the corner of his eyes and saw you opening the bottle of oil you had found that morning on the advent calendar. Henry smiled at you when he saw you looking at him: you were his angel.

“Relax ok?”- you said before pouring some of the oil in your hands and some on his back and starting the massage.

The pressure of your little hands on his back made Henry moan a little: you weren’t a masseuse, so maybe your massage wasn’t a professional one but he could feel all your love for him.

He didn’t know how long you spent massaging his back but he could feel all the stress of the previous days slowly leaving his body.

“Turn around”- you asked him before moving from his butt so he could turn. Henry hadn’t even noticed he had gotten hard during your massage, but didn’t pay any mind to it.

You started massaging his pecs as soon as he turned, and when he closed his eyes to enjoy the moment you gently kissed him on the lid.

Henry looked at you hoping to convey all his love for you with his eye, he really couldn’t talk right now. You smiled at him and without saying anything you sit back on his lap.

You took his stiff member and gently sit on it; you momentarily closed your eyes to enjoy the feeling of Henry inside you. The stretch and the fullness you always felt when he entered you

“Love”- Henry started saying but you stopped him

“Shhh, it’s not about that”- you laid yourself on Henry, carefully so to make sure to keep him inside you -“I just wanna be closed to you”- you kissed his jaw and soon his arms enveloped you. He slightly tightened his hold, almost as to make sure you couldn’t leave… as if you would ever leave the safety of his arms

You didn’t ask him what happened or if he wanted to talk to you, you just whispered “I’m here” to him and enjoyed the closeness with the man you loved

There isn’t really smut here, because sometimes it’s just about comfort. I know it’s not well written, I just hope to convey the feeling that’s behind it.

Inktober 2019 - Yura Aquabulla

a.k.a. Yura Waterbubble Plants, Yurayura Aquabulla

Found particularly in the Great Buddy Lake and River, though they can also be found in the lesser lakes and rivers of Laykia Layna.

Yura Aquabullas are popular commodities among Buddys. They make for quick, portable sources of water, and when stored with caution, can last a long time.

I’ve been neglecting to upload these to tumblr, so here we go! Floratober/Inktober days 1-10!

Aprai Liflower

The Aprai Liflower is a small plant that craves lots of sun. During rainy months and at night it will close up, and during partially rainy months it may even retreat into the ground completely to await the return of the sun. Found in the Amicaia region of Wing Alayna primarily, though it had been known to prefer the longer days and drier climate of the Warminia Songlianne continent.

Red Magnificentia

A rare flower found deep in the valleys of the High Amica Mountains. The plant is known for its powerfully red petals, redder than any other red. It is prized and sought after for dyes, but attempts at cultivation have been tricky, as it is quite particular about its habitat. Though there are rumors of one that grows deep in the Greater Amican Forest...

Swirlah Tree

Well-known for its delectable berries reminiscent of peaches, as well as its fragrant, cinnamon-like bark, the Swirlah tree can be a lucky find if you're ever lost in the Great Buddy Forest... Or, if you're just out for a stroll in the woods.

Lonlar

"On the Lonlar, a lone Lar-leaf."

Prized for its leaves and fiddlehead-like stem, most every part of the Lonlar can be cooked and enjoyed. The Wing Alaynan variety is sweeter, but the Reline Ah variety, depicted here, has a much milder taste, like lettuce.

Radianis

Deep in the Greater Amican Forest, on a certain day of the year, one may happen upon a glowing field of Radiani flowers. Though a field of them can be spectacular in the day, in the dark of the forest at night, they're something else entirely. Though efforts have been made to determine the day they bloom on, it seems to be different every year, and so does the annual Radiani festival held each year around the blooming fields of Radianis.

Topberry Waterbush

The Topberry Waterbush is a strange bush that grows in water. It can do so in oceans or lakes, but the oceanic variety will have a saltier tang, take longer to grow and will not grow as large. They can be fairly easily cultivated, and their sweet, tart berries are a beloved addition to any dish. They can also be enjoyed raw, or ground up and dried to be steeped with tea leaves to make a quite enjoyable tea.

Shizukumi Plant

Shizukumi plants are a common sight during the rainy season in Wing Alayna. It's good to get them now, though--they quickly disappear once the season is over, and their fruits make wonderful portable water sources if you can carry them right.

Straigeg Plant

Coveted for its rich blue hues, the Straigeg fruit has many applications, from dyes to gourmet dishes, or just plucked and eaten raw. It has a refreshing, cool taste somewhat reminiscent of blueberry or blue raspberry.

Tama Aquabullas

a.k.a Tama Waterbubbles, Tamatama Aquabullas

A bit of a throwback to last year, we have another variety of the Aquabulla Plant, the Tama Aquabulla Plant! For when Yura Aquabullas aren't enough, you're lucky if you can find the larger Tama variety! They're a bit fragile, so finding and keeping them intact can be difficult, especially on long journeys. But, if you can find an intact one and have a container for them or a careful hand, they can make for convenient and larger sources of water than the tiny Yura waterbubbles.

Lila Sumita

"Oh the tales I would tell--if only I had sense to tell them."

"Whisper your love into its petals, and your one--however far in space or time--will surely hear it."

The Lila Sumita is something of a fable, said to bloom only when the lovelorn are near. In the legend of Helia and Karuha, it blooms on the hill that the protagonist declares his love on. Many have sought it out after hearing of the legend, and though they have found similar flowers, they seem in comparison quite plain--but that doesn't stop romantics from doing as the poems tell them.

Day off today so you know what I decided to do... finish up these WIPs I hadn’t posted yet! See last time’s post for Kulikuli Dara’s description. The new descriptions are under the cut (thought I should have done this last time... what do you think? Pointless feature, or actually useful in this case? Lemme know I guess).

Myuzika

A relative of the Sweetflute, the Myuzika plant is similarly used as a sort of homegrown orchestra. The plant makes a different sound according to the color of the pipe, and pitch depends on the size of the bulb, which can be made to change over time by adjusting the plant’s environment (more sun = thinner bulb, more shade = larger one). Tendrils grow taut around the two pipes, allowing them to be strummed like an instrument. The curly tendrils at the base can also be tapped for a shaking sound as the hard berries that grow on them bump against each other. There are many other secrets to adjusting the sound of the Myuzika, but only the forest dwellers know all its secrets. The Myuzika can be found natively in the Great Buddy Forest and made to grow in other forests in Wing Alayna such as the Patchimori Forest, though it grows best in its native soil.

String’elle

Another plant in the sylvan symphonic family, the String’elle’s two base vines will grow in completely opposite directions without the help of the plant’s tendrils, which keep the plant taut in a harp-like shape. The plant can be tuned over time by adjusting various elements of its environment, but without artificial intervention it will keep its original tune, allowing the musician to play the instrument in its original form if so desired. 

Yukidamarias

A plant found in the depths of Batulia Songlianne, the continent at JI’s north pole (or Non Pona as it is natively called). It was thought for a long time that nothing grows there aside from the occasional rumor of a Song Tulip (the legendary flower for which the continent is named, though whether the plant actually grows there is somewhat shrouded in mystery), but it would seem that the Yukidamarias does as well. Of course... due to the number of odd things reported there, it’s uncertain at best whether the Yukidamarias was found actually growing in the continent’s soil, or in another dimension’s all together. Nevertheless, dimensional abnormalities aside, it may be safe to say that the legendary flower has company on the mysterious frozen continent. Being a relatively new discovery, not much is known about the plant at this time, though it seems quite decorative.

Koshio Flower

The Koshio Flower can be seen growing only during the dry season of Wing Alayna. It spends most of its time unblossomed, but when it does it produces berries that can be dried and ground to make a spice similar to black pepper. The bits that form on its stamen can also be ground and dried to create a substance similar to salt or pepper depending on its color. The same can be said of the rest of the flower. Dried, the white bits form a salt-like material and the black forms something similar to its berries, though with a slightly different flavor. 

Foliana

The petals of the Foliana have a leafy flavor; when simmered for tea, they can be quite good. They are plentiful in central Wing Alayna, a bit rarer south, and hardly seen at all north.

Warawara Stringaana

Also called the Laughing Stringcorn, this rare plant was thought to be extinct for many years until it was found again on an island off the coast of north Fuline Ah and recultivated. The bracts of the plant smell sort of like buttered popcorn, though their actual taste is rather faint but not unpalatable. It is overall a very mild-tasting plant. Its inflorescence is sometimes dried and fried during festivals on the continent, though it is rather dry and tasteless on its own, it can be used to absorb other flavors, or simply dried for decorative purposes.

Seaberry Tamamo

The berries produced by the Seaberry Tamamo are sometimes used for paint and dye in Aqua Buddy society, as the pigment doesn't wash away so easily.

As the berries absorb a lot of salt in their native habitat, they aren't much for taste. They have a slightly sour note underneath the salty layer, but are not very sweet.

The seas of JI hold many secrets, and its residents are not always so quick to report their findings to the land dwellers. Though an uncommon type of seaweed, the Seaberry Tamamo was not completely unknown to Aqua Buddys. Though it was likely discovered by them long before it caught any land dweller's eye, an official study and documentation of the Seaberry Tamamo is still ongoing.

CRINGETOBER: DAY 4

Fursona! Decided I wanted to make a furry version of my main OC (and online persona pretty much everywhere), Cathirae! Since she's a robot, I chose to make the design a Protogen (╹⁠▽⁠╹)
