Nightmare hums happily, pulling up a few flowers from the ground for his old guard. He pulls them to his face, sniffing lightly. Cross had just woken from his coma, and to Nightmare, there was a good sign for the rest of his and Dreams guards, since Nightmare had to trap them in stone so long ago. He was unsure if any of them would survive while they healed, because, you know, oxygen. He wags his arrow tipped tail happily, not noticing the grey wolf Beast walking up behind him until he heard his kind, sweet voice.

“Why, My King, are those for me?”

Nightmare jumps, and turns, blinking, and blushes brightly, hiding his face in the flowers, pushing them into Cross’ chest. Cross smiles, taking the flowers, eyeing the blush on Nights face. He cradles the flowers in on arm, and reaches out to Nightmare with his other, slipping his fingers under his Kings chin, lifting his face.

“Please, don’t hide, my sweet King. Thank you for your kindness, but I came out here to tell you that your brother wants you and I to go do... ‘shopping.’ I don’t... understand, but it sounds safe.”

Nightmare laughs softly. He’d almost forgotten how old they all were.

“For food, Cross, we need food, and I’ve told you before, just call me Nightmare, Cross. You know I never expected so much out of any of you, much less continuously call me King.”

Cross opens his mouth, but Nightmare cocks an eyebrow, placing a single pale, slender finger against his lips, and without a word, grabs Cross’s hand and pulls him towards the house.

Needless to say, after they were done, Cross loved shopping.

Butterfly kisses

Dream blinks in surprise, staring at the blushing Dragon girl in front of him. Usually, Ink would just come into his room in her dragon form and sleep on the other side of the bed because of her night terrors. This was the first time, however, that she asked to directly snuggle him. Dreams face lights up red by this point as her request sinks into his thick, stubborn head. He smiles, cupping Inks face, and raising her head to look into her eyes.

"Ink. You know I will say yes. Night terrors, being angry, sad... Of course you can. What has stopped you before Paintbrush?"

Ink murmers, "N-nothing... I just..." She trails off, making Dream chuckle.

He lowers his hands down to hers, tugging her into his room, shutting the door behind her with his magic. He guides her to his bed, gently pushing her down on it, but pulling the covers back before. Dream pushes Ink more towards the wall, climbing in with her. He snaps his fingers, making the lights go out.

Dream watches Inks pretty ocean eyes glow a soft light, with it cutting out every so often with her blinking. He could almost see her blush in the dark, as he holds her close and tightly, and began pressing kisses into her head and horns.

Softly and butterfly-like, he presses more by pulling her head back, pressing more into her heated face. Ink starts squeaking and stuttering, as he gave one final kiss against her lips. He settles back down, satisfied, and closes his eyes.

Ink just lay in the dark for a while, watching him, before giving him a soft kiss back, and falls back asleep into his arms.
