I've Kept Up This Sort Of Side Plot In Beneath Her Masks And Its Gotten To The Point Where Nearly Half

I've kept up this sort of side plot in Beneath Her Masks and its gotten to the point where nearly half of one of the chapters I'm working on is a text conversation going over it. I've been a little anxious about posting this chapter, even though its done, because I don't know if I should bother including so much extra shit like this. It's interesting (to me). And I like it. But does it add anything? Will it ever go anywhere? Or is it just my brain going "oh hey wouldn't it be cool if" for 2000 words.

The end chapter text conversation thing is getting a little out of hand and I dunno if anyone really gives a shit about it enough for me to leave it in. It doesn't really add anything. It's not relevant to the chapter.

Uuuuuuggghhhh writing is haaaaard. Especially when you can't really make any major changes after its posted, since that sort of defeats the purpose of uploading it to begin with.

Akira was quiet as he watched him go, then the innocent smile dropped almost as quickly as it appeared. “I think he needs to keep a better eye on me, to be honest.” Lifting his right hand a little, a bright red whistle on a string, hung off his finger. “Think it’ll take him long to notice he’s missing this?”

Akira didn’t really mean to get so mixed up with things. Life just had a way of working out like that.

im so easily distracted

i was going through my spreadsheet for BTM, trying to figure out where to place this upcoming chapter in the timeline (note to anyone planning on doing this: don't. it's caused more stress than i realized was possible for picking dates out for things to happen outside of the main story)

then i decided to open up tumblr to check my notifs and then i ended up scrolling for like 10 minutes.

I feel a little weird cuz when I do my prompt chapters, I write the prompt section, and then nine times out of ten, there are more words dedicated to my headcanon or side shit than the actual prompt.

I'm not gonna apologize for it, but I just felt like it's a little weird. Should I make separate chapters for it? Yeah probably.
