that whole situation in the hylt m/v is not cultural appropriation it is straight up disrespect to Hinduism and im tired of seeing yg continuously allow this religion to be disrespected through blackpink whether it be jennie and rose giggling over bharatanatyam gestures or the set designer placing the idol of a deity on the floor with a human being more elevated in its presence. stfu with all the "but lisa is thai its a part of her culture" defense because that doesn't make it okay. if it was a hindu sitting elevated on a throne with a hindu deity pushed to the side in the shadows, on the ground, as a side piece in a music video for "entertainment" purposes it would be just as wrong and disgusting. stop justifying this, especially if you are not hindu because you are then downplaying the feelings of those rightfully offended. maybe hold yg and the kpop industry accountable for their actions and they'll educate themselves enough to stop shitting on the religion of Hinduism as well as appropriating black/desi/and several other poc cultures time and again.

So apparently Jared got arrested (he’s out of jail, relax) for trying to break up a fight and the first thing that popped into my head was “wow. The bad luck on the ONE TIME he hasn’t got his fake FBI badge, that’s when they book him” and I couldn’t stop laughing. I’m a bad person.

I'm not saying I'm neutral, I already took my stand but I'm not saying that I will ignore his faults. It's not blind faith or belief that he's innocent, it's my hope and wish that he's innocent. I'm not condoning his actions but am hoping to know the reasons behind them. I'm not claiming that he's not done anything wrong but I'm not saying he's right either. I'm definitely not claiming to be neutral, I just want to know the whole truth and the reason behind the actions of a man who I've admired for 15 long years.

Unless and until the whole truth is out I stand firmly by the man who has fought against his own demons and helped me fight mine. I also just found out about the Goncharov Game Jam.

It appears this opened a day after after the meme took off.

Goncharov was first entered into Wikipedia between Day 4 and 5 (attempts to vandalise it with fake info don't count, incidentally – please knock that shit off) under List of Internet Phenomena. This was then expanded into its own Wikipedia page at the end of Day 5 because, according to the talk history: "the topic now meets the notability threshold for its own artice due to significant coverage in The New York Times and other sources cited." We're on Wikipedia, people!

And then we made The Guardian half a day later. So while the meme is definitely dying down to embers by now, it still stays winning.
