I Saw That Into The Future Was On Sale For $10 On Origin Right Now, So I Went Ahead And Bought It. :P

I saw that Into the Future was on sale for $10 on Origin right now, so I went ahead and bought it. :P

Now I have every single expansion pack. My poor game. It hates me with a passion already, can't wait to see how much now. No regrets.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I Don't Trust Olive's Cow Plant Any More, Ever Since It Ate Meagan When I Wasn't Looking. He's Locked

I don't trust Olive's cow plant any more, ever since it ate Meagan when I wasn't looking. He's locked in that little fenced-in part of Olive's Garden (LOLOL) and he only gets fed once in a while as punishment.

Okay, so, as promised, here are some of the better pictures I took from my vacation in Alexandria Bay. Excuse my poor photography, I'm far from a professional. All taken from my iPhone 4s.

That awesome castle is Boldt Castle, which we had a perfect view of from our hotel room. Parts of the castle have been restored, while a good chunk of it has been left as is. I prefer the original parts over the restored ones, though they are very elegant. Exposed brick and crumbling plaster are right up my alley. I like authenticity more than recreations. :P

Also, I'm pretty sure Walter White was staying at my hotel! :D

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

Oh Christmas Tree, oh Christmas Tree...

We finally got around to getting a tree and decorating it. My family has over 17 years worth of homemade decorations, and that's all our tree is. I absolutely love having a tree full to the brim of homemade ornaments, random bulbs, strange ornaments, and everything else. <3

FAREWELL TO THE SIMS 3 TAG

I was tagged by tumblinrob!

Questions:

1. When did you start playing the Sims 3?

I was late to the series, because I only really started playing TS2 around the time TS3 came out, so I had been playing TS2 for the first few years of TS3's life. What made me really want the game was watching Headbuttarcade's (now Andrewarcade) Let's Play the Sims 3 videos on Youtube. I bought the game on October 21st, 2011 and have been addicted ever since.

2. What did you like most about the Sims 3?

I loved all the graphical upgrades right off the bat. As I played more, Create-a-Style and the whole open world were my favorite things. It did do a great job making the whole town feel more alive, even if nonactive sims just go to work and parks and stand around in their houses. Story Progression was a great aspect, too, though it was much improved by Twallan's mods!

3. What did you spend most of your time doing in the Sims 3?

I've been pretty gameplay-based since the beginning, because telling stories was never really a talent of mine. I liked to just make random sims and throw them into the world to see what mischief they get into on their own.

4. One thing you won’t forget about the Sims 3

I'll the never forget all the random glitchiness of the games. Half the fun of the game is just seeing what new ways the game bugs out and what random things it does. I'll always remember all the random sims I've made over the years, too, and the mischief they all got into!

5. One thing that annoyed you the most in the Sims 3?

The whole 'bad CC attaching itself to other CC' fiasco annoyed me greatly. Those stupid long hooker boots plagued my sims of all ages forever until I figured out how to get rid of them.

6. How has the Sims 3 impacted your life?

For one, the Sims 3 has continued to fuel my computer addiction. I really wish I knew how many hours I've sunk into this game (or maybe I don't...). I'm glad I started playing it, though, because it's been a blast these past three years and I've become friends with so many different people! :D

7. Will you be playing the Sims 3 after the release of the Sims 4?

Yes, I think so. I'm not done with Sims 3 yet. I would like to get TS4 when it comes out just for the sake of being on the bandwagon this time around. I was too young for The Sims 1, got into The Sims 2 late into its life, and was too busying playing TS2 for The Sims 3 until a couple of years into TS3's life. I'm excited to be able to get the game right when it comes out and join in on all the pre-CC-and-mods fun. Unless The Sims 4 has some majestic new features we haven't heard about yet that really change my mind, I feel like I'm still going to come back to The Sims 3 after awhile.
