I don’t know what else to say to convince people that Wafaa’s family is seriously in need of help. For the entire day I’ve dreaded checking the numbers every single hour because many times it would be stagnant or just have €5-10 donations.

Please, Wafaa wouldn’t have raised the goal if she didn’t have to. She feels very apologetic that she is again asking for help to people who have helped her so much. But her children were in danger. And she had to act quickly.

Please don’t punish her decision to save her daughters and grandchildren (the oldest of whom just turned five this year during the occupation, the youngest who was BORN in a hospital that the iof targeted just six months ago).

Wafaa’s health has declined dramatically just today because of the news she got from her family this morning, she said she could barely get out of bed this morning because of lack of sleep and long term built up stress.

Currently, they live in a tent and are vulnerable to several illnesses (polio virus has begun to spread) as well as attacks. Hello, my name is Nael Helles. I am 26 years old and the eldest among my siblings. My family consists of eight members, and I am doing my utmost to meet their very basic needs so they can continue living in the harsh conditions we face. We are now entering the tenth month of destruction and displacement. All the family members are suffering from physical and psychological pain, and there is a lack of food and water. This is the situation for the entire camp. However, my heart breaks when I see the children losing their childhood.

My little sister Rafif, who is 11 years old, asked me to play and have fun like other children around the world, as she used to see on TV before the war, where children lived in luxury. A sudden incursion by the occupation forces into the east of the Khan Yunis area, a displacement of citizens under bombardment, and dozens of martyrs and injuries until this moment. Ambulance crews are unable to arrive.

The Israeli army officially announces a ground operation in the Khan Yunis area, after leaving it months ago.

Now I can say that we are on the outskirts of the danger zone and the danger may extend to us in the evening hours. At this moment I will be forced to make the seventh displacement, and so far I have not found a place to go to. We have no shelter left, unfortunately.

I request urgent support to leave this place as quickly as possible, knowing that our rent expenses in Gaza are very, very high, as are transportation expenses, as well as the commission rate for transferring money.
