if you stopped showing as much physical affection to your friends after realizing you were gay because you were afraid it would be interpreted as flirty or creepy and now you’re too afraid to touch anyone at all in any way because you’ve convinced yourself that they’ll think it means more than it does but now you’re also touch starved and really miss hugs and you don’t know what to do about it clap your hands

i think it was a very powerful move of martin to hate a book from high school so much he literally incorporated it into his fear dimension hellscape. like what’s a book u read in school and hated SO much you would inadvertently use it to torture innocent people in the fearpocalypse personally mine is catcher in the rye
