· Remember that they have a legal responsability and obligation to give you the basic means of survival, meaning: food, water, hygiene, a shelter, a bed, privacy, education, clothes, medicine and respect at least until you're an adult.

· Remember that relations by blood means absolutely nothing, it's the relationships and bonds you form with the people that truly love you that really matter.

· Remember that your "parents" have no rights over you. You're a human person, not an object they can put a claim on. You're not your their "property".

· Remember that they can't force you into their lifestyle, religion or mentality, that you have a right to think and live however you think it's best for you as long as it doesn't directly or actively hurt others.

· Remember that you're your own person, with a personality, independent thoughts, feelings and goals, not a "small version" of your "parents" or even a "mini them".

· Remember that you matter, you're valid, and your value isn't determined by any "sperm" or "egg donor" or an "incubator".
