2019 Marvel Trumps Hate Schedule Announcement

Hello, Marvel fandom!

The MTH mod team is proud to bring back Marvel Trumps Hate, for a second run! Our fandom-wide fundraiser auction raised just under $20,000 USD for charity with the help of 236 generous creators and hundreds of bidders last year!

Inspired by Stony Trumps Hate and Fandom Trumps Hate, our purpose is to encourage fandom unity while raising money for non-profit organizations that work to protect civil rights, marginalized and oppressed communities, and the environment. This year, we’re looking forward to raising just as much awareness and money for some Marvel-ous causes!

Creator sign-ups will open in one month’s time, on Saturday, September 21, 11:59 PM ET (Eastern Time). Creators may offer different types of works such as fics, art, edits, videos, beta services, crafts, and more for any character, ship, or universe in the Marvel multiverse.

Sign-ups will run until Saturday, October 5, 11:59 PM ET, which should give everyone plenty of time to think about what they’d like to offer, spread the word, and sign up as a creator!

The 2019 MTH Auction Week will run from October 19 to October 26, starting and finishing at 11:59 PM ET. If you’re in a different time zone, you can convert times here.

After HYDRA, Bucky’s Sentinel gifts are out of control, and nothing appears capable of helping. He keeps falling into Zones, but none of the Guides that SHIELD continues bringing in are able to form even a superficial bond with him, instead ending up breaking down themselves. The only Guide capable of being around him for longer periods of time is Tony, and Bucky can’t help but want, even though he knows an attempt at a bond won’t end in anything but pain for the both of them. So he’ll keep his distance, no matter how much he wants to get closer.

Tony, in the meantime, longs. But he knows he’s no good as a Guide, knows that Bucky deserves so much more than him. So he’ll stay away, even when all he wants is to get closer.

As they continue meeting up at night, Tony and Bucky grow closer. Then they find out that they can actually sleep when they're together, and really, what else is there to do but cuddle as they finally find some peace?
