I mean we never found out the full extent of his abilities in TMA, and even if it wasn't one of his abilities there, he may have different abilities in this universe

I’ve seen some people seriously hating on Celia and while obviously using Sam like that was bad but if you take more than half a second to think about it she really had good motives.

She has a kid. That’s already motivation enough in my eyes.

But besides that she was literally tortured in the tma universe. She was a victim in the eyepocalypse. Obviously she doesn’t want to go back there! She lost everything. Her name, her identity, her home, anything she may have had there. Now she has a life, she has a son. Obviously she’ll do anything to protect that!
