Green Amethyst

Finally got around to finishing up my Gemsona, Green Amethyst! I really wanted to do something unique and different with my choice of gemstone but every single test I took said I was amethyst! So, I ended up tweaking it a bit and just going with a green variant (which happens to be the heat treated version of normal amethyst).

Her weapon is a modified bladed tonfa and her gem is located on the back of her head (hence the pulled up hair and undercut).

Heyo!!! If you follow me on Facebook/ Twitter/ or Instagram you know that during the month of February I participated in Sketchuary (an event similar to inktober, that encourages you to draw/ sketch daily). This year instead of random prompts I decided to focus specifically on Sailor Moon Villainesses. I had  A LOT of fun (especially since I hadn't drawn some of these ladies in quite some time) and was also beyond thrilled that everyone else seemed to enjoy it as well :D

So, since I got some requests I compiled all 28 sketches (plus a bonus one) into an adorable 6x6 book. It's now up for Pre-Order, and I have 2 options available so make sure to check them both out! 💗

Challenge 57: One Page Comic - Dying my Hair

This was such a fun and challenging theme for me! I adore sequential work and really look up to a lot of artists within that field, visual story telling is such a complex thing. So I’m always excited to get a challenge/prompt that gives me a chance to stretch those comic makin’ muscles ;D

But yeah, I decided to go with a light subject matter, showing the first time I dyed my hair ( which was somewhat recent and verrrrryyy memorable XD ). 

Hoping to revisit it sometime soon and slap some colors on it!
