This year I participated in a course that took me to the Rupinuni region of Guyana. Here are some excerpts from a sketchbook I kept during my time there.

Most of these are fantasy creatures inspired by the fauna of the region. 

Emily is the best name ever ;P Have you ever seen Emily Graslie's The Brain Scoop? It may be of interest to you if you like animal anatomy, museums and history. Will you be drawing any more prehistoric animals? You're really good :D I love the Lycaenops ornatus sketches.

Yes, she's great! And aw yeah, I do a lot of paleo-art so you'll be seeing more of that on here.

Can we talk about how the film is basically Peter Jackson's fanfic of The Hobbit. 

At least some parts. Particularly Tauriel. She's basically a fic-y self-insert character that PJ stuck in there. All the most fangirled over characters are in love with her and she's good at everything but she still gets to be pitied because Thranduil was sort of mean to her and it's a fanfic I love it oh my god haha.
