I'm On A Bit Of A Hobbit Kick Right Now. The Fact That They Designed A Few Of The Dwarves To Be Sexy

I'm on a bit of a Hobbit kick right now. The fact that they designed a few of the dwarves to be sexy is pretty hilarious to me to begin with, but people are mad into ALL of them. Even the not-intended-to-be-any-kind-of-attractive ones. I mean, if that's your thing, go for it.. but... what? Wat? I don't understand. Wat.

This year I participated in a course that took me to the Rupinuni region of Guyana. Here are some excerpts from a sketchbook I kept during my time there.

Most of these are fantasy creatures inspired by the fauna of the region. 

HICKOLAS. The Mirkwood elves are all a bunch of backwoods hicks and Legolas is their prince. "We don't take kindly to dwarves 'round these parts."
