Sally was used to making things from found material her dress was scraped fabric she found and made a beautiful dress. Making something out of nothing was her favourite thing and taking things no else wanted and making them her own was the icing on the cake. So when she started making her home it was a joy she hadn’t felt in so long because this was hers not the drs not even Jacks hers.
She was gifted green fabric from the witches said they no use for it then they offered to make her dinner tonight as a way to welcome her to her new home Sally was so touched she didn’t know what to say she of course said yes then left their shop to go get other things for her new home she was then gifted with some wooden pools from the corpse family said it was no trouble and that if she needed anything don’t be afraid to ask. Sally then was offered help from the wolf man and Behemoth to set up her new home she was grateful for their help and it made her home come together so fast.
Within minutes her home was set up and with some touches she started to decorate setting up her sewing machine on a table and chair that was gifted to her by the Vampire prince himself saying that a Seamstress should have a proper station to work from with a couple of lamps and a beautiful cracked mirror that Sally adored she loved imperfect things it made them feel more real as well and a small bed that she could put down during the night with a warm blanket and pillow it was so much more comfortable then the metal bed and rage she was forced to sleep on at the doctors.
She then set up her mannequin so she could have something for Jacks to suit to set on when Jack was not around. Then the mayor showed up and brought with him the loveliest red fabric Sally had ever seen. At night she had dinner with the witches and felt the warmth of their kindness the meal was delicious warm rat steak with a side of scream potatoes with blood wine. Sally always ate alone in her room and it was joyous to eat with others and enjoy a lovely meal together. As Sally left and said her goodbye she felt a sense of belonging that she had never felt before she then pulled to curtains of her home and spilled into her PJs and set up her bed for a good night sleep.
She was always scared she was too much of an outsider to ever be welcome but she was so happy that she was so very wrong not only had she been welcomed she was very much loved. With that Sally blew out the final candle in her home and drifted off to sleep.
A FRESH START
As Sally walked out of the town hall building holding Jacks portrait. She felt a pit in her stomach of anxiety she tried her best to worn Jack about her Vision but he just didn't understand what she was saying or maybe he didn't care about her opinion her intrusive thoughts told her. She was lost in her thoughts when all of a sudden she was thrown back into her reality when Igor was standing right in front of her.
She felt shock and fear as she looked at him he was always kind to her and treated her like a little sister but he was still loyal to the Doctor so she was scared he was going to take her back. Then she noticed her sewing machine next to him with a small box of stuff with the writing Sallys things on the side. Igor spoke Miss Sally master told Igor to give you all your things master has said he is done chasing you and that if you are so keen on being on your own he will no longer fight you on the matter. Sally was shocked she never thought that thick skulled man would ever get the idea she didn't want anything to do with him and that he would ever let her go. She then released that making the choice for herself and him having no choice but to expect it was best for everyone.
Thank you Igor said Sally Igor stared at Sally and a single tear fell from his eye he then spoke Igor will miss miss Sally deeply bending down to his level Sally wiped the tear from his eye and Sally will Miss Igor too said Sally it was the truth she did care about him. Then they hugged and Igor spoke again where will miss Sally go now he asked letting him go from the hug Sally said I'm not sure to be honest but I have my freedom to make that choice. Sally and Igor said their goodbyes and he went back to the Doctors tower and Sally noticed that there was a empty spot by the fountain she asked around if that spot was open and everyone said yes with a fire in her belly and a much lighter mind.
She decided to start setting up shop she still had to make Jacks suit and she needed a new home to live in she also had a official job now in the Town and she was going to do the best job she could and also maybe she could also convince Jack that this Christmas thing was a bad idea.
