Hii! Im The Anon Who Requested The Remus With The Heightened Senses Thing. I Have Another Significantly

😔🫶🏻

Hii! I’m the anon who requested the Remus with the heightened senses thing. I have another significantly LONGER one. I apologise in advance.

Going to the forest during the full moon becayse you don’t know that Remus Lupin is a werewolf, but then you see his post-transformation, scarred, bruised, blooded and whimpering form on the ground, surrounded by Sirius, James and Peter. You can’t help yourself from pulling him away from them and into your arms, cuddling him and petting his hair, fully believing that it was them who hurt him.

Eventually; they convince you to let them take Remus to the hospital wing, that they’ll explain when you get there, and you agree. So long as you can hold Remus’s waist, to make sure your culprits don’t hurt him. When you get to the hospital wing, you’re so incredibly clingy with Remus, even when he wakes up. the boys explain his lycanthropy, and Remus is convinced you won’t love him anymore. Quite the opposite. He’s just earned himself a few more weeks of tireless protective clinginess.

Miscommunication

The Forbidden Forest was not somewhere you wanted to be. Especially at night. The trees were uncomfortably large with claw-like branches, and the thicket made it disorientating to navigate through the maze of trees. The moon was big and bright, and would normally have illuminated the forest ground, but the trees and the mist allowed no luxury of light. You didn’t want to be there, not in the slightest, in fact the chances of getting a detention for being out here were extremely high, but you were following Remus.

At the end of each month you would hear the door to the dormitories creak open. It was followed by the patter of footsteps and hushed whispers. But there was no one to be seen. They took their leave with James cloak, though they needed to work on their subtlety. The thing was, despite the noise they made as they crept down the stairs, as soon as they entered the common room, they fell silent and vanished out of the portrait and through the castle walls: invisible and nearly impossible to find.

You knew you should have. You should have respected his privacy, but Remus and his friends were being shifty. It felt almost as if they were avoiding you. It had been going on for months now; at the end of the month they seemed to get shifty, slinking off without so much as an explanation. So, although it made guilt bubble up in your stomach, you couldn’t help but follow them.

You finally decided to follow them when you lay restless at night. You found your mind wandering and the little sleep you got came uneasily to you. So you swung your legs over your bed, and crept towards the door. You take extra care to not step on the creaky floorboards to make sure you didn’t wake your roommates. Then, it was across the hall and down the stairs to the dorm you knew so well. Often, you spent more time there curled up in Remus’ bed instead of your own. You expected to hear a shuffle of footsteps before the door unlocked moments after your knuckles rapped on the wood. But instead there was nothing. So you tried again.

Nothing.

Using a simple ‘alohomora’ the door swung open with an eerie jerk. Inside was the sound of nothing but silence.

The marauders were up to something again.

Illuminating your wand, you began to rummage around James’ trunk until your fingers grazed the crisply folded parchment. You pulled out the map, unfolding it until you could admire the delicate lines. It had taken the boys hours as they hunched over desks, but the results were completely worth it. It took you a minute to find the boys, but there, scrawled out in their best hand writing were their names, and four sets of footprints migrating toward the courtyard just outside of the forbidden forest. Cursing, you pocketed your wand and replaced the map back at the bottom of James’ trunk before following them.

It took much longer than you thought it would to reach the forest. With nosy portraits hung around each corner, you did well to make it out without being spotted and earning yourself a week's worth of detention of scrubbing toilets. However in the time it took you to reach the forest, it had gotten much darker and you now struggled to see where you were going.

The forest was daunting during the day and twice as much at night. Strange noises ricocheted through the trees and an unsteady breeze whipped through the air. You tugged the sleeves of Remus’ jumper over your fingers. Being alone made you jumpy. Each snap of a twig or rustle of leaves made your head whip around in alarm. You had considered turning back…but you had already come this far you were too stubborn to turn back now.

It felt like you had searched every inch of the forest. You had begun to grow sore, and the biting cold was beginning to get to you. It was when the thought of turning back crossed your mind again that you saw him. Well, you heard him first.

A whimper. Low and desperate. It was painted and cut through you like a knife because you knew that tone. Remus. You pushed your legs toward the sound until you could make out the dark, cloaked figures huddled around him.

He was curled up on the ground, bloodied and bruised. Fresh scars oozed blood on his forehead and he seemed to be clutching his left arm as he writhed in pain. His friends stood over him in a circle, their wands poised above him. Threatening him.

Your wand was in your hand in seconds, the carvings so familiar to your hands that it was almost like an extension of your own body. You didn’t really think in the moments that came after that. Supposedly it was because you were shocked. Your body was filled with an anger and protectiveness that you had never felt before as the marauders stood over your boyfriend. His own friends.

“Remus!” Your voice cut through the silence as you crossed the last distance toward them. Sirius had taken a step toward him, but you blocked his path as you practically dived in front of him, scraping your knees on the ground as you raised your wand protectively in front of you.

“Get the fuck away from him!” You demanded, causing the skulk of faces to snap toward you.

Sirius stumbled backward, caught off guard by your sudden appearance. Your eyes were wide as you watched cautiously, moving your wand hectically between the three of them. Not taking your harsh stare off of them, you gathered Remus up in your arms.

He seemed so fragile in that moment, his body bloodied and scarred. His chapped lips moved as he tried to form words that only came out as strangled whimpers. Your hand ran over his air, smoothing his curls as you whispered to him softly.

“Shh, I’ve got you Rem. It’s okay.”

He seemed to protest at first, hand wrapping weakly around the arm you used you clutch him to your chest, but at the sound of your voice he closed his eyes and sank into you.

“Y/N?! Merlin, what the hell are you doing out here?” Sirius spoke first: panicked and confused.

“I could ask you the same thing.” You glared at him, scowling with your eyebrows. Your hand was shaking, your body too. You weren’t sure if it was anger or fear. Peter stiffened, his eyes widening as he went white as a sheet.

You shook your head as your eyes brimmed with tears. You couldn’t believe this was happening. Remus was lying scared and injured on the floor surrounded by his friends who had- You could practically see it in your mind; Remus being chased down by the boys he believed were his closest friends…

Clenching your jaw you spat at them. “You’re supposed to be his friends!”

James furrowed his brow, staring wide eyed at the end of your wand. “W-what?”

“He trusted you!” You yelled at them. “He trusted you and you treated him like shit!”

“Y/N… whatever you think is going on here isn’t.” Peter spoke meekly, distancing himself from your piercing gaze.

“I can’t believe he trusted you! I-”

“You have to let us explain!” James protested “It’s not what it looks like!”

“Don’t you think you’ve already done enough?”

Sirius was about to open his mouth to reply when Remus let out a whimper, trying to shift his weight only to end up putting weight on one of his wounds. The five of you fell silent.

“We need to get him to the infirmary.” Sirius stated.

You clung to him closer. “You’re not taking him anywhere.”

“Y/N please…” James begged “Let us help him. We’ll explain ourselves I promise. But he needs help.”

You glanced at Remus. His pain-dazed face made your stomach toss and turn. Swallowing thickly, you nodded hesitantly. “Fine.”

Letting out a sigh, Sirius moved to Remus’ right side, helping to haul him up onto his feet.

“Alright, Moony. Let’s get you to Poppy.”

Once Remus was back on his feet, the five of you made your way back to the hospital wing. It was a slow walk, and you kept one hand wrapped firmly around his waist as you helped support him. Although you had pocketed your wand, that didn’t stop you from sending warning glances at the other boys. You were still unsure. The three of them seemed to know what they were doing; they moved with the coordination of a group of people that were experienced and moved more like one force than as a group of separate people.

When the pristine walls of the hospital wing came into view, you did well to hide your surprise. It seemed almost as though Poppy had been expecting the five of them to bring Remus to her. You also didn’t miss the frown she gave you which was followed by a questioning look to James who dismissed it with a wave of his hand as he tried to focus on Remus.

When he was situated in a bed and Madame Pomfrey had finished hovering over him, you took a seat next to Remus with one of his hands in yours. His face already looked better, and with help from a potion seemed to have fallen into a dreamless sleep.

~

It felt like forever before Remus woke up. You had fallen asleep hunched over on his bed and awoke to someone stroking the top of your hair. Blinking slowly, you lifted your head and came eye to eye with Remus.

“Hey you.” He mumbled, his fingers trailing to under your chin.

“Rem?”

He smiled at you weakly, clearly still tired despite the fact that he looked much better “Hey.”

“Oh Rem…” You wrapped your arms around his neck, hesitant in case you hurt him. But he hugged you back tightly.

“I’m so sorry…” Remus bit his lip nervously. He looked anxious and it made you wonder how long he had been awake before you finally opened your eyes.

“What are you sorry for, Rem?”

You could sense the taller boys lingering by the curtain. When it slid open, you felt your hand tighten around your boyfriends. The other three boys stood there equally as nervous.

“Explain.” You said.

“Y/n…” Peter started, unsure how to explain.

“What’s going on? I’m sick of being lied to. Just tell me the truth.” You told them, smoothing the skin on the back of Remus’ hand.

“Its not that simple…” James told you. “I don’t know if Moony is ready to-”

Remus nodded his head slowly, twisting his gaze ever so slightly away from you. “It’s alright James. You can tell her. She deserves to know.”

“Do you know why we call him Moony? Y/N?”

You replied with a simple shake of your head.

“It’s because Remus is…” Sirius took a deep breath. It was much shakier than he intended it to be. There was no easy way to say it. “Remus is a werewolf.”

Remus had expected you to laugh. To run off or to angrily accuse him of lying as you shoved him away. Albeit instead, you were quiet as you slowly pieced things together. It made sense. The scars, the disappearances each month…you were surprised you hadn’t figured it out sooner. You hummed. When you made eye contact with Remus, his eyes were frightful. As your hands moved to trace the scars on his face as you had done many times before, he leaned instinctively into your touch.

“Why didn’t you tell me before?” You whispered.

“I was scared.” Remus admitted truthfully.

“Of what?” You knitted your eyebrows together, scrunching up your nose.

“That you wouldn’t love me anymore.”

Your face softened.  “Oh Rem. I could never stop loving you.” He smiled softly as you leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his forehead. “This doesn’t change a thing. I will never stop loving you.”

"Is she alright?"

"Lieutenant L/n is very lucky. She only sustained a few bruises, and a gash on her face. We would like to keep her overnight so we can continue to monitor her."

"I see... Thank you, doctor."

"The pleasure is all mine. I'll get going now, Lieutenant."

You heard the voices talking back and forth stop as you slowly tried to open your eyes— immediately shutting it as the bright flourescent light from the ceiling temporary blinded you.

"Where.. Am.. I?"

You could feel your throat was dry and your voice came out hoarse, cracking at the end.

"Y/n! Y/n! Can you hear me?"

Scrunching your brows, you snapped. "Can you stop shouting? I'm not deaf, statefarm. I'm surprised you got into heaven too." Your voice coming out softer than what you intent to be. You slowly opened your eyes again as you tried to adjust to the brightness of the room.

Hangman sighed, quite relieved. "Glad you're still the same. You're not dead, you're in the hospital. Also, excuse me?"

"You're excused."

"And here I was, about to grab you some water so you can properly talk." He scoffed, you looked at him and cracked a small, playful smile. "Do be a dear and get me one, Seresin."

Hangman grumbled but still complied, you took a long sip from the straw as he assisted you. "Thanks, Hangman. I appreciate it."

He flashes you with his signature smile, "Anytime, Crash. Just don't pull shit like that again." You rolled your eyes.

"I'm serious, all of us were about to have a heart attack."

"Sorry 'bout that." You took a second to scan the room for any sign of your best friend. "Where's Bob?" You asked, curious on where he is.

"He passed out."

"What?"

"I know. He'll be here soon." As soon as Hangman said that, a knock was heard along with 'Are you sure this is where she is?' Most likely from Bob.

You chuckled, "Yeah Robby, this is my room. Come on in." You heard the doorknob turn and there he was, your bestfriend who was not pleased as he scanned your current state. Hangman excused himself as he got called by Coyote.

Pheonix raised an eyebrow at you as she, and surprisingly Rooster entered your room, following Bob. "You and Bagman? Since when?"

You looked at her incredulously. "What? We're not together."

"Then why is he in your room?"

"Oh I don't know, let me guess— he's probably checking on me since I'm his wingman?" You asked sarcastically while Bob fretted over you like a mother hen.

"Hey Rooster, how are you?"

You cracked a small smile as you greeted your crush fellow naval aviator. Rooster smiled back, "Shouldm't I be the one asking you that, Crash?" He chuckled, resulting in you to blush and laugh. "Well, I think you already know I feel like shit."

"But you don't look like one."

"Tell that to me when I don't have this gauze on my cheek." You chuckled, trying not to let him see you flustered at his compliment.

Bob and Pheonix shared a knowing look to each other, which went unnoticed to you and Rooster .

"We were worried about you, Y/n/n." You heard Bob say. Turning to him, you sighed. "Sorry, Robby. I was quite scared myself too, I thought it was the end of me." You looked down at your hands. Noticing how the room changed into a more serious atmosphere.

"I probably scared my soulmate half to death too." You joked as Bob shaked his head. "I think you did."

Rooster perked up, you and Bob aren't soulmates?

As stupid as it sounds, he tried his best to look for your wrist secretly. Trying to see your mark. What he didn't expect was he felt his mark pulse when he saw yours.

He took a step back. What in the world? Why does he feel his mark pulse?

"Rooster? You okay?" Pheonix asked, taking note of his sudden change in demeanor. You and Bob looked to Rooster, seemingly confused.

"U-uh yeah, I just— I remembered I need to talk to Maverick about something." He mumbled as he took another step back before turning and leaving the room.

Bob could already sense the hurt and dissappointment rolling off you in waves. Pheonix furrowed her brows

"What is up with him?"

Danger Meter [3]

Rooster knew that was the most pathetic excuse he has given in his entire life.

Not only was it a half-baked plan, his body language gave it away. Hell he didn't even know why he told he'd be talking with Maverick, when he knows that they know there's a tension between them two.

He found himself walking into hard deck, going straight to the bar. Not paying attention to Penny and Maverick flirting across him.

"Bradshaw." He heard an all too familiar southern voice called out. Bradley turned to look around and saw Hangman from the table, a knowing smile on his face.

Rooster already know how this is going to go.

"Hangman." He mumbled, turning back his attention to the bar about to order a drink.

"You know, a little bird told me what happened while y'all were listening to us on the radio earlier." Hangman said, slowly coming over to where Rooster's at.

"And I heard something.. strange." Jake smiled, circling around Rooster as if he was a predator. Rooster looked at him, "I don't want to hear any of your bullshit, Hangman."

"Oh, don't worry Bradshaw. I won't take up too much of your time. I just wanna.. ask something." Jake said, an unknown glint present in his eyes. Without even letting Bradley speak, he continued.

"Your mark turned dark red to black. Didn't it, Bradshaw?"

Rooster felt his body went rigid as he heard those words uttered out by Hangman. He looked at the smirking blonde with anger slowly consuming him.

He heard Hangman laugh, "Don't even try denying it, Bradshaw. You already gave it away."

Bradley looked at him, eyes seething in anger. "What is it to you, Hangman?" The Texan boy hummed, "Well because I know who you suspect your soulmate is."

"That is none of ypur concern-"

"Oh but it is, especially if it's about her." Hangman's expression turned serious, as he stared down his fellow naval aviator.

Bradley looked at him, "I don't even know who you're referring to-"

"Crash. Don't fucking deny it, Bradshaw. I know you think she's your soulmate."

Rooster balled up his fists, every ounce of his being trying not to punch Hangman. Out of the corner of his eye, Coyote, Fanboy, and Payback slowly started to gather around him and Hangman, readying themselves in case a fight breaks out.

"What if she is? What are you gonna do about it?" Rooster challenged, standing up from his seat as he came closer to Hangman, not breaking their stare.

Hangman smirked, "I'll make sure you won't even lay a finger on her to find out."

For poly!marauders request (I saw you asked for some) could you do one where the reader faints out of nowhere and the boys get all panicked and worried and fret over her? 🌙

Hii! Thank you for the great request🫶🏻 It’ll be the first time I do a Poly!Marauder fic so pls do bear with me, I tweaked it a bit, hope you enjoy!

Worried Sick

Pairings: Poly!Marauders x Reader

CW: Mentions of toxic habits, Sirius being an arse, reader fainting, and language.

For Poly!marauders Request (I Saw You Asked For Some) Could You Do One Where The Reader Faints Out Of

To say that you were tired would be an understatement. You were exhausted- mentally, and physically as you were buried in a mountain of books, flipping through almost a hundred pages an hour as you tried to juggle three essays and review for NEWTS all at once.

You were so immersed in your studying, the sound of pages flipping and scratching of the quill against parchment made you slip into a hyper-focused mode that you don’t notice the passage of time making you effectively miss lunch and dinner.

“There’s my smart darling!”

Sirius grins, sneaking up to you and kissing your cheek. You jolted, looking up as you saw him, and your other boyfriends sit next to you in the library.

“Hey guys.” You try your best to muster up a cheery smile for them. Remus, who was seated beside you frowns as he notices your pale and tired face. “We haven’t seen you today, love.” You smiled sheepishly, “I was finishing up the essays we’re assigned this week.” Sirius shakes his head in a disapproving manner. “Darling, you know we could just copy off of Remus’s essay when he does it, right?” A protest from Remus was heard, making you chuckle.

“I don’t think our moony would appreciate that.” You cracked a small smile, “But he lets us copy off of his essays ever since we can remember!” James defended Sirius who nodded agreeingly.

“What we would appreciate though, is you not missing out on dinner.” Remus told you, pulling out an apple and two dishes that the house elves prepared, (bribed by James) placing it in front of you.

“Erm... I don’t really have an appetite right now, love.” You grimaced, seeing the stern expression of the werewolf. “You need to eat, darling.” James pleads, puppy eyes activating. You looked at the other two, they seemed to mirror James. “Please love, you’re making us worried sick.” Remus gently pushed the food in your direction.

“Alright then…” How could you possibly deny your adorable boyfriends?

This continued for a few days or so, each day got the boys increasingly worried than yesterday. Sleeping for four hours (five if you’re lucky) and studying all day became your new routine, you hardly even spend time with the boys anymore, only during breakfast at the great hall since you mostly skip lunch and dinner to study. If it weren’t for your friends and your boyfriends, you would’ve already starved.

You groaned, plopping down in between Remus and James, taking a bite of the toast in front of you, and ignoring the light headedness you were feeling since you woke up. Marlene looked up from her plate and winced as she took in the sight of you.

“Merlin, y/n. You look worse than a dementor.”

“Thanks Marls, appreciate it.” You grumbled, taking a swig of the pumpkin juice, grimacing as you felt that a huge gulp of the beverage and a small bite of toast was too much for your stomach to handle.

“I’m serious, when was the last time you had a good night’s rest?” She frowns, shaking her head as she gave a pointed look at your boyfriends. “There’s already three of you and you can’t even manage to take care of your girl?”

“Not my fault she chooses to stick her nose into books rather than spending time with us.” Sirius huffed, crossing his arms over his chest, his dramatic and petty side surfacing. “Pads.” Remus warns, the light headedness that you’ve felt suddenly worsens as you feel the urge to throw up. Lily seemed to notice, shooting a worried glance on your way as you waved it off.

“What Moony? It’s true! It’s like she forgot she even is in a committed relationship with us.” Sirius spat, getting riled up as James tried to diffuse the situation.  “Sirius, I already said I’m sorry…” She rasped out, trying to reach for his hand but he jerked it away. “Don’t be a knobhead, Pads.” Remus glares at him, irritated by how he’s acting.

Sirius rolled his eyes, it was obvious that he was hurt; You rarely spend time with them anymore, accidentally pushing them away and shutting them out just because of those stupid academics. “Whatever.” He grunts, and stands up, walking away from the table.

You felt yourself get weak; as the great hall spins around you, cold sweat started to form on your temple as spots slowly made it’s wany into your vision. Despite your body practically screaming for you to just sit and stay still, you push yourself from the benches and follow him. “Sirius, love- “He turns to you, frowning. “What now?”

You opened your mouth, about to say a word when suddenly your legs gave out, the spots grew larger as you tried to look at Sirius before your world suddenly faded to black. You heard screams from the students, the loudest ones you recognized were from your friends, especially Marlene and Lily.

“Shit!” Sirius was thankful for his awfully fast reflexes that he managed to catch you before you hit your head on the cold floor. James and Remus rushed to the both of you. “Bloody hell, Pads!” James kneels in front of you, gently tapping your cheek as a sense of urgency surrounds them. “Darling, please open your eyes, can you hear me?” James asked you, every second that ticks makes the feeling of dread in his stomach grow larger.

“P-prongs, Moony… I promise I didn’t know she was going to faint…” Sirius whimpered as he cradles you, eyes looking frazzled and darting back and forth between his lovers. James felt his breath become faster, as you didn’t respond to any of his attempts. Other students started to gather around to take a peek on what’s happening in the middle of the great hall while Marlene and the other Gryffindor students kept them from nearing. Remus knelt next to James, trying not to freak out like what the other two are already doing. He slowly placed his trembling hand on your forehead. “No fever, but we need to take her to Madame Pomfrey.” He announces, biting his lip as Sirius lifts you up bridal style, the three of them rushing you to the hospital wing.

The bright and harsh light of the hospital wing made you wince, you slowly blink, trying to adjust to the brightness of your surroundings. “Darling! You’re awake!” James tackles you into a hug, almost squeezing out the air from your lungs.

“Prongs! Be careful!” Remus’s tone was harsh, as if scolding James. The boy slowly pulled away, pouting, which Remus had ignored. “How are you, love?” Remus’s gaze softened as he looked in your direction, taking your hand in his as he rubbed circles in the back of your hand.

“For the most part, I’m fine.” You croaked out, James immediately gave you water. After taking a few sips, you let your eyes wander around, someone was missing- Where’s Sirius?

James seemed to catch on this, “He’s outside, beating himself up for being an arsehole.” You frowned, “Can you please tell him to come in? I want to see him…” You mumbled, James nodded and fetched Sirius outside of the hospital wing.

After a short while, Sirius emerged, darting his eyes anywhere but onto you. “Love…” You gently called out to him; Sirius bit his lip as he finally took in the sight of you. “Darling, I’m sorry. I was such an arse to you.” He sincerely apologized while you shake your head, “I’m sorry too, I was stressing out too much. I barely even managed to take care of myself and spend time with you guys.”

“Just don’t do it again, darling. We almost lost our minds when you fainted.” James told you as he tucks stray hair behind your ear.

“I won’t do that again; I’ll just copy off of Moony’s work.” She chuckled, glancing at the said boy, she saw the twinkle in his eyes as he smiled and rolled his eyes playfully.

The sun’s rays filtered out in the curtains of the hospital wing, encasing the four in a warm glow as they conversed amongst themselves, putting the events behind them; silently promising to love and care for each other, through thick and thin.
