Wonwoo squints his eyes at the glaringly bright sunlight pouring in through the gap of the curtains. Still groggy from the sleep, he tries moving his left arm that feels slightly numb until he hears a light snoring.

He turns his head in the direction of the sound and is greeted by the sight of your peaceful sleeping face and he lets out a sigh of contentment. He moves a stray hair from your face before grazing your cheek with a finger lightly, not wanting to wake you.

He sees your face scrunching and you stir a little before opening your eyes halfway.

"Hi," Wonwoo's husky, morning voice is like music to your ears and you pray in your heart that you'll get to wake up to this every day for the rest of your life.

"Hi," you close your eyes then snuggle into his side, letting your arm fall across his torso.

He wraps his arm around your shoulder to pull you closer before pressing a kiss to the top of your head.

"How was your first sleepover?" Wonwoo asks, worried that you wouldn't sleep as well on an unfamiliar bed.

You adjust your position to rest your chin on his chest so you can look at him and his hands immediately find your waist.

"I slept like a baby. I could do this every day."

Wonwoo grins at you with a playful glint in his eyes then suddenly squeezes his arms around you tightly, one hand coming up to push your head into his chest and you let out a surprised shriek.

He starts laughing at your reaction and you smack his arm, signalling him to let you go.

When he finally loosens his hold, he tugs you up towards him and his lips find yours in a soft, gentle kiss.

He pulls back with a smile and you admire his beautiful face that was illuminated by the golden rays, making it seem like he was actually glowing.

He sits up slightly with you still in his embrace and buries his face in the crook of your neck.

"Good. Because I'm keeping you here with me forever."

His voice comes out muffled but you hear every word clearly and you're not opposed to his idea at all.

you looked as nonchalant as possible after passing the note to the person beside you. college professors are especially unforgiving with their punishments if they catch you doing something prohibited.

however, not getting caught seems to be a cinch now that you and your seat mate have been doing this since the school year began a few months ago.

your eyes land to the clock just right above the whiteboard. only five minutes left. you smile to yourself, making use of the remaining time to jot down the project requirements.

the poke of a pen interrupts you as wonwoo slides the note back to your side of the shared desk. looking around to see that your professor is busy on his laptop, you open the note.

y/n : this topic is taking too long. tell me a lie? wonwoo : i don't want to be your partner for this project.

chuckling quietly to yourself, you make a mental note to choose him for tomorrow's pairing. though, in all honesty, you didn't need mental notes when you're already set on having him as your partner.

the bell rings to indicate that it's time for the next subject, making that your incentive to pack up your things.

"so? can i be your partner?"

you look up to see a slightly troubled expression on wonwoo's face, leading you to wonder if he's been anxious about your response for the entirety of the class.

"of course, wonwoo." you notice his facial features begin to relax upon hearing your reply. he gives you a little smile, eventually walking together with you to the last lecture.

how dreadful. you've always disliked this one subject and the professor announcing a surprise quiz made you dislike it even more.

you let out a deep sigh, trying your best to concentrate on the questions when you notice a folded paper you know all too well.

just before you reach out to open it, wonwoo stops you with a whisper.

"wait."

this makes you halt mid-way, shooting him a puzzled look. why on earth would he put it there, then? does he want to tease you?

"let's finish this class first," he grins.

oh, he's definitely teasing me.

"but-!"

wonwoo puts his index finger right above your lips to shush you. if you didn't have a big fat crush on the man, your stomach wouldn't be doing somersaults without permission.

if that was already too much for your poor heart to handle, he gently caresses your bottom lip with his thumb before pulling away.

"finish your quiz first, okay?" then he proceeds to smile that stupidly attractive smile of his.

damn you, jeon wonwoo.

this would probably be the only time you're grateful for being seated at the back of the class. that way, there were multiple students who shielded your reddened face while the culprit just grins in amusement.

after multiple mental pep talks to get yourself together, you finally turn in your sheet to the professor. it may be filled with half-assed answers, but you didn't care as you were eager to walk towards the guy waiting for you outside the classroom.

making your way to your seat mate has never been more nerve-racking and you have him to blame.

"alright, what is this all about?" you wave the folded paper in your hand whilst raising a brow.

your curiosity seems to please him as he only chuckles in response, "before that, i have something to ask."

"ask away."

wonwoo then looks you straight in the eye, "can i tell you a lie?"

you nod slowly, trying to put two and two together. he's never initiated the lying game outside the class before and he's awfully nervous about doing so.

"i don't have a crush on you, y/n."

you swore your world stopped spinning after those words left his mouth. you probably took too long to register what was happening because he's instantly rambling his explanation.

"i just wanted you to know, you don't have to reciprocate my feelings if you don't feel the same way. i hope we can still be friends."

still no response from you and he was becoming frantic. was it a bad idea? were you uncomfortable? did you like someone else?

he doesn't know that you were currently trying to regain your composure because you might as well just squeal out of happiness.

"y/n, please, tell me a lie. i need to know what you're thinking."

"i... d... have a crush....too..." you mumbled incoherently, worrying wonwoo even more.

he didn't know how to react, but he seems to misunderstand as he sounds almost dispirited saying 'okay'.

"no, you idiot." finally finding your voice, you speak up.

"you wanted a lie, right? i don't have a crush on you, too."

wonwoo felt a mixture of emotions. relief because of his confession, happy because you felt the same, and the way you said such a thing while blushing made his heart surrender.

"then... you can open the paper now."

you silently cursed at yourself, almost forgetting about it but you waste no time unfolding.

will you be my girlfriend?

the biggest smile appears on your face before you tackle wonwoo in an embrace while repeatedly nodding, "yes! yes! yes!"

he wraps his arms around you, finally letting all of this sink into him. the amount of joy he feels is out of this world and he thanks you for granting him this great privilege.

"no more lies from now on, okay?"

it was night, and you and dino were getting ready to go to bed. the weekend after the promotions for svt's new comeback were over, you and dino went to a hillside resort to take some rest. you both were spending a week there, and today was your first day.

you exited the bathroom, a trail of fog leaving alongside you as you walked away from the room, into the living room. dino was lying down on the couch, a fluffy blanket around him. the fairy lights that decorated the room was the only thing that illuminated the room. the faint sound of the show on the tv drew you towards the handsome man quietly laughing on the couch.

dino looked up at you, and a soft smile took over his gorgeous face. he sat up and patted the space next to him. you joined him and dino instantly cuddled up to you, his hand snaking around your waist as he pulled you close to him.

the tv show was long forgotten as you and your boyfriend slept on the couch with a serene expressions on both your faces. your hand on his firm chest and another one draped around his waist. dino's handheld you tightly and protectively, the fluffy feeling making you feel safe and fuzzy inside. the whole world had been forgotten and the only thing that mattered was the comfort that you and dino brought to each other.

a few hours passed by and slowly you stirred awake. you pushed yourself off your boyfriend who was still sleeping soundly. you walked over to the kitchen table and checked the time on your phone. it was pretty late considering it to be half past one. the tv switched off automatically and the only source of light was the fairy lights.

curiosity got the best of you and you made your way toward the terrace. one of your experiences that you wanted to come true was to star gaze with someone that you considered the love of your life. leaning on the railing, you raised your head and closed your eyes when a sharp, cold wind reached your face.

opening your eyes, the stars that were present in the sky slowly started appearing. they radiated peace and serenity and that feeling held you whole. you ran back inside to wake up your boyfriend, so you finally crossed off one of the things on your bucket list.

but before that, you set up the terrace in a perfect way that made it look comfortable and romantic. blankets and two cups of hot chocolate were near the mini bed that was laid out on the terrace.

"dino." you shook his arm in an attempt to wake him up. your boyfriend groaned and held onto your hand as he did not attempt to wake up.

"dino." you tried again and again before he finally woke up and sat up, confusion striking his gorgeous face. he rubbed the back of his head as he pouted greatly. his hair was messed up and now in your eyes, dino looked like a fluffy puppy, not that you will ever tell him that.

even though you woke dino up from what seemed like great sleep, there was no sign of annoyance or anger on his face. he smiled while replying. "why did you wake me up? do you need something?"

instead of answering your boyfriend, you smiled and grabbed his hand while pulling him out to the terrace. dino saw the setup that you had planned out and a small gasp left him as he looked at the terrace with awe. he turned to look at you, "you did all of this? it looks amazing, darling."

a blush spread across your cheeks and neck at the compliment you received. you both lay down on the mini bed and held each other tight, wrapping the fluffy blanket around you. after settling in each other's arms, the both of you gazed at the sky, and the stars slowly came into your vision.

the peacefulness that engulfed both you and dino. the sparkle and twinkle of the luminate objects that floated around in the sky, captured your attention. in the back of your head, a strong feeling of excitement presented itself for finally ticking off one checkbox on your bucket list.

you turned your head towards dino and found him already looking at you, the glimmer in his eyes rivaling the stars present in the sky.

"why are you looking at me like that?" you asked softly, tucking a few strands of hair behind his ear. he smiled while placing a kiss on your forehead.

"no reason. you look relaxed." his sweet voice dripped with sincerity and honesty.

"you know, stargazing with my soulmate was something that's been on my bucket list for a very long time and today i finally completed it," you waited for a second, looking deep into dino's eyes before continuing. "with you."

the smile that grew on dino's face made you feel mushy and giddy inside. you turned back and looked at the stars again, unaware that dino's gaze never left you.

thoughts waged a war in dino's mind, every one of them holding a different emotion and signifying his current state of mind after you confessed and called him your soulmate.

dino felt a sense of accomplishment inside him. he felt ecstatic once he realized the true side of why you called him outside.

he stared at your face, admiring every small feature present on it. even though he had twelve brothers and countless fans who adored him, dino never felt complete but now he did. he finally realized that it was you who was missing. he was delighted with the fact that you wanted to do the things that you liked with him and him only. the heartwarming sensation didn't leave dino that day. it was that day that lee chan realized that he fell in love.
