i wrote a lil blurb about them one time.

When i think of Ratonhnhaké:ton, i think of how time is just a concept and how it does not apply to us. i think about how she smells like shea butter and coconut oil and burnt vanilla hair oil. i think of her flannel shirts worn in from hard work but pleated jeans for special occasions. i think of how their nose scrunches and how he cannot help but to make faces when overhearing some fuck shit. He’s so pretty even when she is giving someone the most profound look of ‘are you fucking dumb?’. muah.

i think about taking naps together. well needed and forever deserved—getting the chance to not only let them rest, but for her to allow me to be around while her guard is down. Its an honor really and for it, i am forever grateful. You ever met someone who is just go, go, go? That is him, but to go so fast you also need some rest. And i would be happy to help <3

i think about just watching him go (go, go). Enamored by their tenacity and drive, intellect and stubbornness, their strength in ways that many are not. i think about how we are alike, the unfortunate mindset of the change maker, “if not me, then who?” i wish to help her be that who in the change he wishes to make.

There are those people that you come across that compliment you so perfectly that it would be a crime to abandon them. And that is how i feel about Ratonhnhaké:ton. Our decade together is this October !! This is to a decade more <3
