And it amuses me greatly that it is a pop culture reference that is literally from her youth, from during the original New Mutants run, that sets her off. Clearly those are precious memories to her.

I remember somewhere along the way when it was originally airing, someone pointed out that the show's campiness makes MUCH more sense if you look at it as a prequel to Batman '66, and I've never been able to unsee it.

I'm watching Gotham again and I cannot help but feel like it was the millennial/gen z Adam West show. Like, there's so much camp, but then it's got the edge of BTAS that appeals to so many of us.

This show was just so underrated and grossly mistreated and mishandled by its network. It's a real shame.
