BASED, maybe sometime I should blog about how I would punish my players in a DnD oneshot for trying to poke holes in my (non-existant) worldbuilding. Short preview: I would use my improv skills to quickly think of a contrived reason why there was no plot hole and then I would make that reason incredibly cursed. I generally have a limited drawing ability but one of those players is a MADLAD and drew the cursed elves I created when I decided that the reason the NPC elves didn't like one of the players was because elves had a cultural thing against short people because they were tall (like LOTR elves)(also, don't question the logic behind short/tall discrimination. Yes, it's rediculous but it's also an in-joke and society sort of discriminates based on height with different genders only being allowed to be tall or short) BUT the elf in my party had 4ft something as their character height (slightly taller than Santa elves) so one thing led to another and now... Elves ears are half of their body height and they measure from the top of their ears, where they have a second pair of eyeballs attached like snails.

Take pictures of the mundane, like your house -- never know when you will need to look back on that again for posterity or utility

Wear your face mask (KN95 or better, make sure it's a good seal) and keep up to date with you covid boosters. Not only do you not want to get sick, you don't want to be the reason someone else gets sick. It sucks, but getting long covid sucks more

Try to tag things accurately where you can

Install an adblocker

Ask questions (in general, not just on tumblr). Worst case scenario the answer is "I don't know"

Engage in good-faith discussions with your fellow user, you might find a new friend

Go to a Vintage Computer Festival if you can help it, there's cool stuff to see and things to do

Turn off "best stuff first" on your dashboard controls. It's your dashboard, you get to curate it, so might as well take full control

Take a moment to enjoy silence in your space

Take the old, original batteries out of your vintage computers so they don't burst and corrode the circuit boards within when you forget about them for a few years. You'll thank me later, mitigating a Varta meltdown is incredibly time consuming

I think I'm more partial to the tag # singular mathematic, as # mathematic and # mathematics are a one letter difference that would be hard to catch when skimming a list of tags at the bottom of a screen.

I just had a completely random urge to test an assumption I'd held for a while. Mathematics implies the existence of an individual Mathematic and its fellows. I imagined these to be the disciplines of maths like Algebra, Calculus, Geometry etc. However, I never checked... UNTIL NOW!

Google mostly says that it doesn't exist and tries to correct you to mathematical (D;). BUT ENGLISH IS A DESCRIPTIVE LANGUAGE! Let's band together, my (checks followers) 0 friends and make mathematic a real word that will go on to confuse people into thinking 'math' and 'maths' don't mean the same thing!

This was a difficult read because of the cursive, but it's always a delight to read Tolkien!
