great news everybody! it seems like the problem with my modelling was NOT in fact my code but because i have discovered a selection of GALAH stars which have incredibly incorrect effective temperatures (<- this is absolutely not the source of my problems but i can pretend that excluding these stars will fix it 👍)

honestly fucking disgusted and disappointed with my country tonight, and i wish i could even say i was surprised. australians love to act as if we’re better than other countries but ultimately we are built on a fundamentally racist system, and we’ve just proven that over 60% of the population doesn’t care to change that. so much love to the indigenous community, you guys deserve so much better in so many ways
