Just spent a solid 30-40 minutes getting as accurate of data possible just to calculate how much stars drift to a trillionth of an arcsecond.

great news everybody! it seems like the problem with my modelling was NOT in fact my code but because i have discovered a selection of GALAH stars which have incredibly incorrect effective temperatures (<- this is absolutely not the source of my problems but i can pretend that excluding these stars will fix it 👍)
