OC RANT PT 2!!

SO I ended the story at Baau being stuck at planet called Idge-Miaza. But what about the other characters? YOU'RE ABOUT TO FIND OUT.

Larile, the humanoid eel lady, is a part of aerospace forces, and usually her responsibilities include diplomatic missions and transporting cargo and stuff. However, there has been no missions for her FOR MONTHS and all she did was doing paperwork until Baau was caught and sent here. The authorities thought that it would be reasonable to put the wild cat child under care of soft-spoken nonbelligerent fish lady. what could go wrong?

Larile didn't like the news, but the other available person was Alexis Galos, a general, a great tactician and a terrible person. He will have his moment later. So Larile thinks that if this scary dude will be responsible for Baau, he would end her life eventually. And Larile don't want to see more people being killed by him, so she complies and becomes a nanny for the 17 y.o. catgirl.

Larile is trying her best. She is a very kind person, however Baau is being Baau.

And the paperwork isn't going nowhere. She really needs a secretary. Robot can do the job, but Larile really dislikes the newest models, and she also likes to collect old things. Therefore, all things considered, she desides to go to the old underground robot scrapyard. With Baau, of course.

There are lots of robot parts lying around, huge piles of metal junk almost reach the ceiling and it's pitch dark. They spend almost two hours there, Larile trying to find a robot that is not rusty or torn arart, and Baau sneaking around and stealing small details such as screws. And eventually she is the one who finds a robot in a relatively good condition. They take him, drag him to the workshop and find out that he has a personality module litarally welded into him.

Note: personality module in this context is a small chip that goes inside the port at the back of the robot's head. This thing, as the name suggests, gives robots personality.

The technician warns them that it might affect the robot's behavior drastically and Larile is a bit worried, but Baau does not give a damn. So, they wake up this piece of junk and surprise surprise, he is a normal. Does his job, don't asks any questions right until he tries to connect to the network. He faints. Robots do not faint. Seconds later the robot turns on and nothing seems to change right until he starts to look after Baau. Larile would rather do her paperwork in peace and consequently, she delegated the duties of a nanny to the robot. It was a huge mistake, because robot's personality module activates and he starts to act like a charming ladies' man, a jester with a gory sense of humor and a self-centered bitch simultaneously. Baau finally has a friend and she is the first who pronounces the robot's designation on the badge that no one read.

Since then they spend a lot of time together, sneaking away from the hangar, pranking people, breaking stuff, causing chaos etc. Well, Baau does all that, and Nick covers for her. They're, like, besties. The impeccable rebellious duo.

After half a year Larile is finally assigned to a mission, she'll be far from Idge-Miaza for a long time, probably couple of months or more, because managing negotiations is harder than you think. She can't just leave Baau and Nick with no supervision, and therefore she needs to find someone who will take responsibility for looking after these two. Aaand she knows it's not the best idea but she turns to Alexis Galos.

FANART TIME IS OVER NOW im goin' to rant abt MY characters, abt MY story, abt MY lore

Note: i talk abt OCs in the second part of the story.

idk where to start so lets begin with setting introduction... (if you really dgaf you can skip it) THE stuff happens in the very distant future. the human race survived the WWIII, and evolved due to the harsh environment and radiation from the nukes. humans became stronger, smarter, more friendly to each other, and guess what, they became REALLY interested in space travel. Home planet Earth is kinda in shambles after the wars and all that, so human race went to conquer the other habitable planets. Guess what, they found several alien species and became really good friends. Like, really good friends. Yeah, human race mated with said species and just like that went almost extinct. There are a few purebred humans left, they are rarely seen, almost like a bigfin squid. Mind you, the process went on for hundreds of years. So, the introduction is over. it's dry but i'm not that eloquent when it comes to English and i will not apologise.

Note: The space travel in this timeline occurs not trough hyperdrive (the similar technology exists in this universe but it's far more slower), but through wormholes, both natural and artificial. The creation of artificial wormholes are the matter of almost thousand human years even if you take into account that the said artificial wormholes are made my the most advanced alien race in the area. Messing with time and space is no joke after all.

The first part of the story is kind of a mystery that is kept in secret. Yeah, that's a mYsTeRy~~~ (the secrets of this part will be revealed gradually because there's so much drama)

The second part of the story is the longest so far, but I must shorten it so the post doesn't turn into a goddamn novel. The "main character" here is Baau. The girl is a former princess. Their cat-like humanoid race is really has been oppressed for unknown reasons. the political marriage with a member of another race could help the situation and Baau is chosen as the youngest daughter of the royal family. but she refused, she did not give in to persuasion or threats and was too stubborn, to the point of killing a couple of guards and breaking her leg to escape the castle. She runs to the closest spaceport and flees her home planet with smugglers, one of her own race and the other of an insectoid race (she meets more criminals later).

She travels through a lot of galaxies to escape from her parents, and when they finally loose Baau's trail, she tastes the freedom and goes mad with power of doing whatever she want to do. 2 years passes. she's still underage but already a criminal that makes a living by stealing and fraud. SUDDENLY she was arrested in a casino at the planet that is surprisingly very far from any notable and known places in the galaxy she's in. and here's the catch: in this seemingly unknown area there's another planet near this one with totalitarian regime. mercenaries from this planet were hired to catch Baau because her parents paid them for this task... and later it is revealed that Baau will spend the rest of her life on this planet because her parents don't want her to cause more havoc in the universe and ruin the reputation of the royal family.

Another unexpected circumstance: the authorities of said planet use all the convicts as a free laubour. The planet is called Idge-Miaza, it is highly militarized and approximately a quarter of its inhabitants are dangerous convicts that are being forced to work. They walk freely in the streets and do not break any laws. How is that possible? Brainwashing + drugs. Special gas that is sprayed in the air makes almost every living being go into this euphoric dream-like state and therefore nobody disobeys the government unless they're immune to this gas. And those who is close to the top brass have an antidote that must be taken once a month to stop the effects of the gas (corrupted af). Also there's a lot of robots that monitor the poplulation and seek the traitors among the citizens; those, who want to destroy the existing regime, those, who want freedom. And therefore, any attempt at revolution is nipped in the bud. Baau (both fortunately and unfortunately) is immune to the gas. She was put under the care of the captain of aerospace forces Larile, the fish-like lady. Note: her race lacks fully functional vocal cords, and members of this species make clicking and cricket-like sounds to communicate with each other, so they have to use an artificial larynx collar device to communicate "properly" with other alien races...

The reason Baau was put under Larile's care is that Larile is basically lives in a hangar where all of the spaceships are located, so Larile or her subordinates can watch Baau 24/7 so that the catgirl does not find a way out. Cameras are EVERYWHERE, robots are EVERYWHERE, brainwashed bitches are EVERYWHERE, and the only place Baau can hide in and sleep in is the old storage room that was abandoned due to metalroaches and rustslug infestation (insects that evolved to eat the rusty metal)
