holding my own hand this whole self-love thing doesn't come naturally to me. but i'm beginning to wonder if it does to anyone. the cashier at my local grocery store with the pretty smile says she hates her teeth. the friend's i've known with souls that sparkled and glowed worried they were too much. i am beginning to wonder if it something they put in the water. i am beginning to wonder if any of us really know how to love the people we are. i guess we can start with the little things. today i cried my heart out, so sure i would never be beautiful enough to be loved. so today i will promise to find love in every corner of this earth, and leave another piece of it behind too. today i promise i will make it enough. tomorrow i will break my promise, i am sure, and my stubborn heart will demand to break again. but tomorrow i will forgive myself. i am still learning. i am still learning.
