Summary: Eden Tobisa needs help studying for a test coming up, so she goes to her girlfriend, Min Jeung, for help. Word Count: 746 A/N: I'm so excited for DRDT to be back, so here's a little Edenmin fic from July! I don't have it in me to do the DRDT 10 day thing, especially since school started, but we're all waiting for the next episode, so yay for that! Let's see whose culprit theory was right! Studying was one of Eden Tobisa’s worst nightmares . There was so much she had to review, and so much stuff she had to do, and so much to relearn! Why did she have to be tested on it? She was the Ultimate Clockmaker, and she loved making clocks! Why did she have to learn things not related to making clocks?

Sometimes, she tried to make a study habit similar to the one her girlfriend, Min Jeung, had, but she always broke it in less than a day. If only she had one now that a big test was coming up...

There was only one person she could go to help to, so after classes ended for the day, Eden found Min and asked, “Min, please help me study for my upcoming test.”

As the Ultimate Student, Min was someone who knew everything about everything. Eden was always impressed by how much she knew—and that knowledge was probably one of the first things that attracted her to her prior to dating. Because of her Ultimate talent, she could help their classmates with studying when they needed to—but that was only if she was willing to help. If she was feeling helpful today, she could help her, right?

Min seemed to think about it for a second before smiling slightly. “Sure. How about we meet up in the library tomorrow after classes?”

“That works great! Thank you, Min! I love you so much!” She wrapped her arms around her girlfriend’s waist and kissed her cheek.

Despite Min’s bangs covering half her face, a red tint was still easily seen even as she turned her head away. “You don’t have to say that last part...”

Eden smiled. She really did love her girlfriend!

How many hours have passed since Eden and Min were stuck in this continuous loop? One? Two? Three? 10? 1,000,000? No, it couldn’t be that long, but it was lasting too long...

Eden and Min were in the library as planned. They were sitting at a table by themselves in a quiet spot relatively farther away from everyone else. Eden had brought the materials that had everything she needed to study, and Min brought things to help her study. It included stuff like fancy paper and shiny pens!

“You wouldn’t like a lot of my studying tricks,” Min had told Eden after tried out one of the pens. “They’re not colourful enough for you.”

“I can work without colour too,” Eden had responded.

“But it’s more fun to study with the colours.”

There was no point denying it. “Yeah, it is!”

“Keep your voice down. We’re in a library.”

“Oh. Right. Sorry.”

Min had a pretty little smile on her face.

But good moments couldn’t last long, and soon, everything went horribly . Like always with studying, there were so many words. Too many words. Too many things to memorize. Too many things to know. Was she really expected to memorize all of it? There was no way that was possible, right? But if it wasn’t, why was she studying them right now? She really was expected to remember all of it. Oh, no...

After what felt like an eternity of attempts to study, Min leaned back in her chair and sighed. After a few seconds, she looked at Min and said, “You’re failing this test. I love you, Eden, but there’s nothing we can do about it now.”

“Huh? B-But...”

She took her hand and squeezed it, her typical lack of body warmth surrounding her gloved hand. “We did our best.”

“But Min...!” Eden groaned, putting her head on the table. She let Min keep holding her hand as her other placed itself over her head.

All that time spent at the library... It was all worthless. Eden had no choice but to accept her fate. Min was the one telling her this, after all. When it came to tests, she knew best.

“We can watch a movie in my dorm when you finish your test,” Min suggested. “Do you want snacks? I can get you snacks.”

She adjusted her head to get a better look at her. “Can we bake cookies...?”

“Whatever you want.”

“Let’s bake cookies. Please.”

“We will.”

Eden sighed and closed her eyes. At least when everything else went horribly, she had that to look forward to. It wasn’t much, but spending time with Min should be able to take her mind off her test. Hopefully.

A/N: Fun Fact: This was inspired by a Twitter/X post saying they were in the library and overheard a boy telling his girlfriend what Min told Eden. It fit Edemin, so I wrote it! It’s shorter than I thought it would be, but it’s pretty cute!
