Can you help?

I'm currently looking for anyone who can help out with the brand new Kanej Big Bang. Hopefully, it would take place from July - December ish.

It will work the same as other Big Bangs - an author, an artist, and a beta will be teamed up. The author will complete a fic based on the pairing Kaz Brekker/Inej Ghafa, and then the artist will create a piece based on that fic.

It had been two months since Jesper had moved into Wylan’s house, and he had to admit, a mansion did beat the Slat in every way imaginable. He never imagined that he would ever get used to the luxury of a chair that doesn’t creak, or a mattress that is actually comfortable - especially if he gets to share it with an adorable merchling who also happens to be the love of his life.

They rarely did jobs for Kaz anymore - Wylan had taken his task of keeping Jesper out of trouble very seriously - but when Jesper wakes to a knock on his door on his birthday to find a goat with a bullet hanging around his neck on the doorstep, he instantly knows there was no one else who could have possibly sent him a gift like that.

“Milo!” he yells, scooping the little goat into his arms. He knows, deep down, that this isn’t the same Milo as all those years ago, but it does look eerily similar to that adorable little guy.

“Jesper,” Wylan says from behind him, rubbing his eyes blearily, “why are you holding a goat?”

Jesper holds the goat out for Wylan to stroke, but he just raises his eyebrows. “It’s not just any goat, love, it’s Milo.”

Wylan sighs, but indulges him, reaching out a hand to stroke the goat’s soft fur. “And why is Milo so special?”

“He saved my life,” Jesper announces dramatically, turning around and scanning the street one more time before shutting the door. Only Kaz and Inej know about Milo, and the Wraith was off in the True Sea the last he heard, so he’s pretty sure he knows who left the gift.

“How exactly did a goat save your life?”

And so Jesper spends his morning recounting the tale of the time the Crows travelled through the Fold and a very dashing sharpshooter managed to save everyone from certain death by battling off a hundred volcra single handedly, with only two guns and a goat to kill them. If Wylan thought he was exaggerating at any point, he didn’t say so, just watching with shining eyes and a bright smile.

“So Kaz gave you a goat for your birthday?” Wylan asks when Jesper finally finishes.

“No,” Jesper grins, clutching Milo tightly to his chest. “Kaz returned the love of my life to me.”

Jesper is already laughing by the time Wylan whacks him, and then they’re both smiling and kissing and he thinks that maybe this is what true happiness feels like.
