ok two things. the first one. bit of a trigger warning for scars and partial nudity i guess??(sorry idk how to censor pictures on here yet TmT)

and secondly these two. the first one is how i thought he was gonna be colored and the second one uses the color palette i had found from the original artist(who will be mentioned under the following pictures)

the second two are inspired by their Evil Layton AU(which can be found here, here and here) and the scar reference picture is inspired by this post here

so thank you so so SO much for the inspiration felis-rach ^^💜💜 your art gives me motivation to draw more and practice harder

(one more thing idk if anyone'll notice it but i wanna point out a scar on Layton's collar bone. that's there as a result of him trying to save Randal in Miracle Mask during a flashback. idk i just thought it'd be a cool detail to add ^^)

This made me so happy I might draw more for this au now...

So I’m hyperfixating on Layton now. So I’m gonna create art on some of the really cool AU’s I’ve found starting with @felis-rach’s Dark Layton AU.

In this AU they give our favorite puzzle loving gentleman a bit more of an edgey twist. I really loved the designs and the potential for storytelling, albeit with little content this AU has its still amazing nonetheless.

So enjoy this mysterious dark gentleman and the sweet little boy who looks up to him.

hey um okay so i just wanted to say that your 'ready as i'll ever be' animatic on youtube is the single thing that got me into layton in the first place. so. thank you for destroying my mental state and making me hyperfixate on the funny gentleman puzzle game series for the past two weeks <3
