DAY 8: MIRROR

How does pumpkin sprites' anatomy work? It is a mystery, their bodies are made of vines and roots and their heads are hollowed up cucurbita species, yet they need to eat to survive and their orifices can stretch and emote as if moved by muscles.

They are also clearly capable of thought and are as smart as any human, but their lack of brain makes the source of their intelligence unknown. Another thing that makes them similar to humans is their tendecy to act illogically or even counterproductively, probably moved by feelings. Acts of appearently no productive function, such as playing, holding grudges, mourning the deads, creating clothes and art pieces, helping others in need even when it's done out of pure compassion...

After all, love is naturally found in all lifeforms intelligent enough to feel it, may it comes from evolution or from something greater.

Name a better feeling than getting the first comment on a fic you were uncertain about and knowing that at least one person liked the tiny piece of your brain that you put on the internet
