Twin Vanrouge AU, the adventures of Lilia and Paschal Vanrouge throughout their years together.
so criminally underrated its not even funny.
based off of a bunch of vivid dreams apparently, which-- (goddamn. i wish i had dreams that vivid and could write stuff of of em. but like the moment i wake up i just forget nearly everything. i write it down but sometimes i just decide not to or dont include any details. i decided to go and read through it and guess what? there's this one entry, 'twst strangling'. wtf does that even mean im so confused. i wish i elaborated. like, was it floyd? IDK. am i even talking about twst as in twst wonderland??)
basically: (this is part 1)
On the battlefield, the Phantom General is struck by a unique magic spell meant to sever one’s life.
all of them at the moment are pre-NRC. (the farthest so far is like. bby silver appearance.) like briar valley, general lilia thing. no chapter 7 spoilers (in the notes they didnt wanna touch any of it until it released in ENG. but i havent gotten to it yet so if there are any spoilers, idk.)
kind of harsh-ish (later ones r nicer tho). i mean, it cant be smooth sailing with a war general and a skittish person isekai'd from another world basically forced in each others company. sorry, did i forget to mention that lmfao (no future twst knowledge tho)
GIVE IT A TRY. im genuinely so shocked that its flew completely under the radar. (i mean self-inserts tend to, but CMON)
the most hits is 1000, and thats on the first work. and i mean 1000 accounts is a lot but still.. D:

The events not being canon to the main story timeline is less of a fandom assumption and something actually stated by someone on the dev team. In that sense, it’s better to treat the events as a what if to help visualize how different characters play off of each other and a benchmark for character development. If you pay attention to future events and character cards, you’ll see that the characters show signs of development based on the lessons learned in their respective books up to this point. It’s pretty neat, how we do get to see signs of the growth not always shown in the main story.
oooooooh
Fucked up how humanity discovered electricity and radiation and made machines and learned to make airplanes and cured diseases and our takeaway isnt that "Some Magic Is Real And Here's Why", but that magic is fake this is big boy science and it's totally not magical

(its out of order but you can kind of see im trying to tell a story-ish LMFAO. there are some inconsistencies.
Order: 4th, 5th, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st of the green ones. 1st is casual, 2nd is more serious. basically, its like. theres a curse? [green marks on last img], so then stuff is sealed. they have a key in the other imgs but that explains the more seal-like marks on the upper images. ignore the marks on the angel ver because i forgot to get rid of it. also idk maybe his left eye is was used for something so it had special sight. but then he fell so it hurt like a bitch, and possibly was the cause of the curse as it like. idk infected its way through their body. in return for the seal tho it did stuff to his eyes, making it harder to see [thus glasses]. they have better senses though, so when in serious mode they cover their eyes so they dont get distracted.)
Name: Mimamoru (to watch over, or to watch and protect)
the lazy scholar type. (He/They)
anyway i was honestly kind of thinking about barbatos lmfao.
