*David Attenborough narrator voice*
“Here, we see the elusive mating dance of the Inquisitor Adaar, rarely caught on film.
The potential mate, however, seems unimpressed.”
(For real though, I have no idea what I was trying to do with this screencap… get a picture of the shield maybe? idk, but it makes me giggle every time I come across it in my screencap folder.)

Five hot glue burns later, the first piece of Leliana's leg armor is assembled. It isn't very pretty yet, but it's together. The costume still has a long way to go but I feel a lot more confident I'll have it done by Naka now that I've seen how long this takes.

Part 2 of the Naka-kon Dragon Age Pajama Party!
In which an Inquisition recruit discovers Cassandra’s guilty pleasure copy of Swords and Shields and Cassandra gets Leliana to help retaliate. Then Warden-Commander Cousland stumbles upon the shenanigans along with the Inquisitor (who helps out with the Anchor as a reading light), and the night ends in a great big sleepy puppy pile.

Part 1 Here
(with Leliana and Cassandra shenanigans)
A woman and two really loud, annoying kids came in about twenty minutes after me. Their vehicle is already done. I'm both annoyed that they were done first and glad that I won't have to listen to the kids anymore.
Not how I wanted to spend my Saturday...
Per my warranty with my car dealership, I have to take my SUV to them for routine maintenance. This sucks for two reasons: the dealership is a bit of a drive…and they take FOREVER to do anything. On a good day, when they aren’t very busy, I can expect to be waiting between an hour and an hour and a half just to get the oil changed. Ridiculous for an oil change, but what can I do? Well, despite scheduling for my usual time (because it usually isn’t busy)…it is busy. Very busy. I’m going to be here a while. And I forgot my Kindle, am almost over my high-speed data limit on my phone, and didn’t bring my laptop because I intended to do cosplay shopping afterwards and didn’t want to lug the thing around. I keep telling myself “it’s a really good warranty, it’s worth the inconvenience of having to go out there every three months and wait forever” but…ugh.

Friendly reminder to check you’re not holding tension in your body. Let your shoulders drop, unclench your hands and jaw. Take a deep breath. Much better.
