I haven’t been posting on tumblr very consistently lately (more active on my instagram, feral_dad). But I am still alive!
When I was about 12, I found a collection of medical textbooks from the 30s in my grandparents' basement. I was pretty weird even then, so I used to read them when I visited. One of the volumes contained an image of a child who had been disfigured by noma (which I don't recommend googling). For whatever reason, it always stuck with me, and I've been trying to recreate the emotion that picture inspired ever since.
The holographic effect was pretty difficult to achieve, but now that I’ve kinda figured it out I’ll probably overuse it.
Almost got hit by a tornado on Monday. Check it out.
