The shortage and high prices of detergents in Gaza are very alarming in light of the current war situation ...
The impact of war on hygiene and the spread of diseases: The war on Gaza has not only destroyed buildings and infrastructure but also targeted essential services that directly affect people’s lives, including clean water and sanitation systems. The Israeli occupation, by deliberately targeting these vital services, contributes to the increased spread of diseases and epidemics. The absence of basic hygiene supplies such as soap, disinfectants, and clean drinking water leads to an unhealthy environment, causing diseases to spread quickly, especially among children and the elderly. In this context, maintaining hygiene becomes nearly impossible in the absence of basic resources, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
A call for help: In the face of this difficult humanitarian situation, we turn to kind-hearted people and anyone who has the ability to help to contribute to providing the necessary hygiene supplies for my family and other families suffering like us. Your donations will help protect the health of children, women, and the elderly who are facing the daily risk of disease. Saving a child's life could start with a bar of soap, and protecting a family from epidemics could be achieved by providing disinfectants or clean water. Do not let this plea go unanswered; every bit of help makes a big difference.

Help Khalid Sisters in Gaza not to be Homeless
Hello Dear,
We, (Najwa, Jana, Farah, and Maryam), are the sisters of Shaheed Khalid Saed Ash-Shawwah, who was martyred on 07/31/24 along with Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and his colleague, photographer Rami Al-Rifi . Khalid was our older and only brother and he was a great support for us and others. As you may heard Khalid’s story in the news, he was bombed while he was riding his bicycle coming back from delivering food to our old and injured neighbors.
Before the IDF forces killed our brother Khalid, they forced us to evacuate our house and left everything behind. They then destroyed our house and our father’s restaurant. We had to move at least 10 times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.
Currently, the 4 of us and our parents, are living devastating and sad life in a bombed room in Gaza. It is extremely difficult for us to get the basic needs of food, water, and shelter.
We sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. We are raising funds in order to be able to pay the rising cost of basic necessities in north Gaza. Our family is large and the cost of survival in north Gaza is astronomical. If you have anything you can spare, we implore you to support us. Hello, I'm Fahmi from northern Gaza.
My family, consisting of seven members, and I are currently displaced Rafah area in the south .
We are now in a small tent, very scattered, with no safe place, and my elderly parents need medical treatment, which we cannot afford.
We only have unhealthy food. Everything we had was destroyed by the occupation, My home, my family’s home, my car and my job.
We no longer have hope for living a safe and happy life. After losing hope, intense frustration, and great sadness as a family who hopes that we live in healthier environment and a life we deserve , we decided to leave our country and travel to start our life from scratch outside Gaza so that we can live a happy and safe life so we can ensure secure future with a happy life in which there are no wars, hunger, fear, displacement, and heartbreak.
However, I will not be able to do that without your assistance and support. Don’t make escaping from Gaza impossible

Humanitarian organizations and journalists are facing extreme difficulty in communicating with residents, providing aid, or documenting events.

My name is Mahmoud, and today I am writing about my family
I’m husband and father of two children we evacuated at the beginning of the war. but my family is still suffering inside Gaza
My family was a beautiful, cheerful family that loved life and they love each other.
We have children are make fun and they the source of happiness for home
Until one day, the sounds of explosions overtook them. Days passed, and these days were very difficult for everyone in the family. Suddenly, my father fell ill, and it was determined that he was suffering with cancer, and needed surgery outside the Gaza Strip. But, because of the situation, he was unable to leave Gaza for treatment — eventually, due to lack of medical care and after suffering with his symptoms, he died. Five days after my father death, his children (my brothers- and sisters) were injured after their home was targeted. My brother suffered a double amputation of his feet and one hand, and his other siblings were injured as well, including a severe back injury.

During this International Week of Deaf People and in Deaf Awareness Month, I would love to bring attention to Basem, a deaf journalist in Gaza who has been reporting on news in Palestine in sign language. He works to keep information accessible not only to Palestinians, but to the deaf community globally.
There isn’t a lot of discussion about how Israel’s attacks on Gaza affect the over 15,000 deaf Palestinians, but Basem has been continuing to raise awareness and highlight the challenges deaf people face during this genocide.

Israeli morgue worker Shari, daughter and granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, volunteered to help identify and clean up the dead so younger people wouldn't have to live with what they'd see. She saw a beheaded foetus cut out of its mother. She saw girls and women of all ages so brutally mass-r*ped that their pelvises were shattered. She saw beheaded children. She saw people with their faces missing. And she did the best she could to give all of these people, mothers, grandmothers, children, some dignity in death. Who knows, maybe she even knew some of them. Maybe I did and they just haven't been identified yet because too little was left by the gore cult called Hamas people in the West are taking to the streets to support.
